Modifico la mia pretendete recensione perché mi sono accorta che delle funzioni che pensavo non ci fossero invece ci sono, ops, scusate ragazzi del team! Continuo a desiderare una specie di tracking per i telefilm e film e mollare definitivamente un’altra app social per i telefilm che non ho mai imparato ad utilizzare. Questo perché preferisco Fable in tutto per tutto, dalla grafica all’elemento social. Inoltre mi piacerebbe che nel profilo ci fosse la possibilità di avere una pagina dedicata alle quotes condivise. Ultimo ma non ultimo, chiedo a gran voce funzionalità forse un pochino più importante: uno storico dei commenti scritti/likes dati/post condivisi…

Scoperta grazie a Twitter l’ho scaricata subito ed è un app fantastica! Migliore a Goodreads soprattutto per quanto riguarda la grafica. Hai anche la possibilità di inserire i film e serie tv. Spero che facciano un aggiornamento che permetta di inserire la lingua italiana

I had issues with the app a few months ago being slow and glitchy but it was because of the mass signups. Now that the app is running smoothly I have no major issues. Notes for improvements: (1) tracking by books read and pages read. If there’s already a pages read tracker I’ve missed it. (2) an easier way to sign up for book clubs. When searching a club I put in my current read and it just showed book clubs not reading the same book but with similar club names. Didn’t realize I needed to go to the book itself then navigate to the clubs tab. (3) also my rereads don’t show up in my streak tracker. It’ll be nice to automatically count that towards my streak Otherwise great book tracker.
Love Fable; One Suggestion
I love this app so much. Socially, it’s like bookstagram, except there’s no distractions. And I love being able to track my reading streaks. I think the TV feature is super cool. I just really, really wish it was set up so that we could mark each episode within the show, or at least season by season. I’m constantly bouncing between my comfort shows, so tracking show by show doesn’t really work for me because I don’t often watch in order.
Racism baked into the AI
End of year wrap up will tell you to “make room for white authors” if you read a lot of Black authors in 2024. Pass on this one.
App closes itself
OH i just love when im in the middle of writing a LONG review and your app just closes itself. Like it’s actually very fun for me. All jokes aside it actually is very infuriating. please fix it because now i can’t stop crying because that review is just gone
awful app
as the year in review comes out, i have seen far too many graphics shaming people who read mainly authors of color, including one that said "don't forget to surface for the occasional white author, okay?" as such, I will no longer be supporting this app. this is reprehensible and embarrassing for any and everyone involved.
Great idea, poor execution
I was looking for an app that would just record the books I had read for the year - enter Fable. As soon as I downloaded the app though it was super buggy. When asked to start my lists of what I’m reading/watching my keyboard refused to pop up so I had to skip, close the app and then restart. It seemed to be fine after that, but as I open it again today I’m getting an error message when I try to add a book to my lists.
