Face Cap - Motion Capture

A mighty app! It’s super stable, reliable and no nonsense, the best I’ve used for live and recorded facial motion capture. I’m a blender user and I swear by it. Should be part of any 3D artists toolkit 🔥 Support was great too developer responded very quickly when I contacted them.

Simply the best facial capture app out there. Its slim streamlined and affordable. Zero bloat. The developer is responsive and helpful, i really couldn’t be more pleased. I was so excited by this app i bought an iPhone so i could make it part of my work flow.

As someone who can’t animate it’s been awesome to take models I’ve made and breathe life into them. I have a good knowledge of maya but am so untechnical so it’s been great to plug in some blend shapes and very quickly get great animation.

Face Cap is the best out there indie facial motion capture. Exports motion and audio to FBX, making it accessible to many 3D animation pipelines. Plus the live aspect opens up interesting possibilities. Keep up the great work!
