FanFiction Plus & AO3 Reader

Won’t let me look up or save new stories and look under fandoms. I tried search story title and author as well as the categories and it comes up blank or nothing, and I’ve copied/pasted from photos I’ve taken of the fan fictions I liked. 24/12/2024 - Also, now I’m getting ads when I paid for no ads subscription.

Stories won’t update and whenever I click on a story to read it says it can’t connect even when I’m online. This app used to be really good, but in the last couple of months, it’s really gone downhill. Another recent but extremely annoying problem is when you try to click on the profile of an author to get more of their stories. It glitches up so badly and you can’t even access the profile and just comes up N/A Please fix. I even tried deleting the app and re-downloading it and I’m still having the same problem.

The amount of ads that constantly play make it near impossible to navigate let alone search for a story.

So far pretty disappointed with paid version as I can’t read anything. Books show it’s there but won’t allow access

There’s so many issues none of the stories I’ve saved show up I can’t read a single one they all say the same thing 0 chapters 0 words every single story

I’ve been using this app for many years now and it’s user friendly, easy to navigate however I noticed a handy feature has been either taken out or rendered inaccessible and that’s whenever I’m reading there’s a method to getting rid of the letterbox effect on the screen so you can have full screen view when reading however I’ve been unable to figure out how to prompt this if the feature is still there at all.

Not sure what is wrong with this app but it’s no longer working. Always giving the message cannot connect to the server.

I’ve used this app for years and it’s held my favourite stories A few weeks ago an update cooked the app and it made the stories inaccessible and I lost them all when I tried reinstalling the app Now the ads are so unbearable that I can’t even get TO a chapter without being spammed with ads, so wrong. An ad between chapters is fine, but not; when I open the app, when I search a story, when I go to read reviews of the story, when I want to save the story, to open the story, to start scrolling the story So disappointing after all these years

Great app however, Not sure when this started exactly but I can’t read offline anymore. Whenever I try is gives me a server connection message. When I open up a book it redirects me to a browser and closes the book I was attempting to open. I can’t update books, whenever I try I get redirected to an in-app browser and the book doesn’t update despite the fact there’s new chapters. Please fix this in app browser check. It’s annoying. Update feature broken as hell - updates freeze and do not continue - constant browser connection secure check that interrupts download or simply doesn’t let it - I have to force update every book but the above issues prevent that completely. Fix this.

I think this is an incredible app. I love reading stories through this app, having them sorted by categories, being able to have them downloaded and updated. The only issue I have is, I actually think it’s worth spending the $5.99 to remove ads permanently, but it won’t let me do it. My card keeps “failing” though it works when I purchase other apps. I also have apple credit that the app doesn’t seem to take.
