This app is getting too buggy to use. It feels like it doesn’t get much maintenance anymore. And those of us that had purchased the perpetual ad-free version feel a bit short-changed (and the new, much higher costs of a subscription is not justified by the quality of the app). I can no longer download things, I can no longer access author pages. In fact I think I’ve simply been inspired to write my own app instead.

I totally understand the concept of paying to get rid of adverts to make the experience more enjoyable, but if someone elects not to, the app shouldn’t be rendered practically unusable. The constant torrent of advert after advert after scrolling a single paragraph through a story is wildly frustrating to begin with, but many of them play multiple times, cannot be skipped or exited properly, or completely crash the app. I don’t know if this was an intentional decision in order to try and force people to subscribe, but it’s frankly extremely user unfriendly and shows very little regard for anything but ad money. I’d be happy to watch a single ad every chapter or so as the price of using it for free, but frankly I’d rather use the clunky interface of my phone browser at this point.

I love this app. I have purchased the no add option because well I hate adds but now I can’t do anything on the app because it’s not connecting to the server no matter what I do. I’m paying and can’t use the app. Do something

This message is to the developers I purchased this app how updated version of the app does not work. It saves the stories when come to read. It does not open Fix this. Thank you

So a year or 2 ago I paid the premium to have no ads. So how come I now have adverts and I’m being advised to pay £24.99 for a year? Another reason I’m annoyed is the app hasn’t worked properly for months! Keeps coming up can’t connect to server. How about fix these faults before trying to charge us such extortionate prices?! I’ve used this app for many years, seriously considering just giving up on it tbh.

As others have said I had paid for no ads they reappeared. Nothing changed. I decided I would bite the bullet and purchase again. Stupid probably but I use it as a form of pain relief. However I can look stories up but I can’t then open them up. I keep getting told this due to server failures. I am so disappointed, fed up and missing an app that helped me when I was in lots of pain. Please solve this! I have done all I know how to see if it is my end it doesn’t appear to be.

Ads every 30 seconds. I couldn’t even type out the name of a story to search without an ad interrupting me half way through, then another ad after I had scrolled down just one screen of titles. I’ll go back to using AO3 straight from Google.

Thanks for updating this to remove the adverts for paid users. I honestly don’t think I’d be able to survive without this app. I use it everyday. It the best app out there to read Fanfiction stories with, as you can save your favourites to your library and reread them over and over again. Thank you!!

This is one of my most used apps and up until now I’ve been so happy with it. I purchased the remove adds option and it was such a relief as for some reason i can never get rid of them and have to restart my phone to clear them no matter which app I’m using. The past few days the adds have returned and the restore purchases button is not working. Please please fix this!
