Lost all for the second time

NoMoSquint on

Great when it works and a big ZERO when it wipes all my sources out. AGAIN!

Ugh

tdokester on

No set up instructions or homepage. Don’t need this.

Ever since 2023 it no longer updates 90% of the feeds

haoqi001 on

United States

Ever since 2023 it no longer updates 90% of the feeds in my setting but leave arbitrary about 10 feeds working while I still paid for the service! It’s basically dead.

Doesn’t update certain sites

sabinek on

United States

For some reason Feedly doesn’t like Scalzi’s blog “Whatever.’ According to Wordpress and the author, there is nothing wrong with the site’s RSS feed. If Feedly can’t aggregate certain sites, why should I pay good money for a pro subscription? Luckily I can expert my feeds to a better reader.

Terrible people

Jjjj1001 on

Feedly has morphed into a privacy sealing crapfest. I have set my default brto private mode but somehow Feedly always opens websites in that browser in normal, data stealing mode. Seems there is a battle for last placd between this and the very popular Chinese government run, data thief Newsbreak app and this one. Maybe the PLA bought this one now too.

Weird annotations

DaiTexas on

United States

I’ve been using this app for a year or two now and for the most part it’s been great. Several months ago, however, they started adding annotations whenever their AI detected things like “leadership change” or “stock market” which were not relevant to the things I was following (whatever, I’m obviously not the app creators’ target audience, but the tool still works for what I want). Within the past few days it’s gone nuts… I’m talking annotations suggesting conspiracy theories attached to virtually everything. I don’t know if this is something that feeds from Twitter or if it’s just their AI has been radicalized but it’s really putting me off. Suggestions for any alternatives welcome.

Feedly AI too confusing

DeansReview on

United States

Incredibly confusing to use. I have pro+ and don’t see any way to add content to Feedly AI, all I see is an option to add a mute folder.

Declining quality and disruptive “enhancements”

Ben Voris on

United States

Feedly used to be a rock solid RSS reader. It appears they have pretensions to be something more, but they’re doing a poor job of it. Recent updates broke the ability to use Safari reader view in the web view, so if you want that, you must enable viewing in the system browser. (Since that’s also Safari, I don’t know what they did wrong, but…) The app regularly saying it’s refreshing content. This seems to have to do with decorating the content with useless icons. these are disruptive and useless. Also, an RSS reader has no business altering a content.

Highlights close stories

I am a *STAR* on

United States

Love your app in general, but it’s annoying that scrolling stories displayed in the app often leads to highlighting text in a way that closes the article. It is extremely sensitive to this problem, so even intentional, small scrolls sometimes end up collapsing the article.
