Although this is my favourite RSS reader, it has a SERIOUS rendering bug when using reader mode. It will simply omit any text that’s also an html link, resulting in missing words and making for incomplete sentences. FWIW, The developer is very responsive and always replies promptly to my messages, and has promised to fix this bug. I have supplied him with screenshot examples that clearly illustrate the bug, but it’s been over six months + since my first report & the bug still exists. Makes it nearly impossible to use & very hard to justify staying with FieryFeeds (I pay for the annual subscription) if this can’t be fixed VERY SOON.
New layout unusable?
I’ve been using this for years and it was great for reading. But recently there was a sudden unannounced change that makes it almost impossible to read anything in portrait view. Either the actual article gets squished down to a tiny column, or I have to constantly juggle sidebars and lists and what have you. I’ve looked for settings and new UI elements, but to no avail.
Works well with NextCloud
This app works great to sync news feeds from NextCloud News. The viewer is also relatively lightweight with many customization options.

The best I’ve used
Mr. Reader was my previous favourite, but it was discontinued and I’ve been looking for a good replacement ever since. Prettier than Newsify, much more user friendly than Inoreader, and the subscription fee is quite reasonable if you want to upgrade, but the free tier is still excellent. The app didn’t even pester me for a review. It’s perfect.
