As the title says, your progression is heavily limited by the fact that you require multiple duplicates of the same unit in order to increase your max level cap to progress in the game. It doesn’t help that there aren’t more ways of gaining these UR units, and that most events are heavily limited via a huge paywall. For example, event stores would have items that would allow you to exchange event items (points) for more SR/URs to limited break your units. However, what you can get out of an entire event is fixed as currency (think of energy) you can obtain to gain event points is fixed in the entire event unless you paid real $ to obtain more. E.g. You could get at most 30 event points (to exchange for items) out of an event as a f2p (which nets you essentially nothing too useful) unless you paid for MORE currency (energy) to participate more in the event. The game is (was) genuinely fun at the beginning where these problems weren’t much issues due to your low level, but the problems become really prominent once you progress through the game. Unless a way is made so that it would be easier to obtain duplicates (for example, a UR selection box/shards for units already owned that isn’t locked behind another paywall), a different option of limit breaking is introduced, and the way how events are locked behind a paywall is removed, I would recommend for most to stay away from this game.

I don’t really play mobile games that much but I think this game was worth a shot. The battles are interesting and the character designs are nice. Although the game is fun, it’s a bit hard to upgrade the characters unless you have duplicates, especially ai akeno. Maybe you could add a trading access for players to trade their figurines with others? Thanks and I will appreciate it!

Gives a lot of free gems and tickets to summon figures. And also puts in effort into making collab events and new types of gacha. I’m really satisfied as a person who likes gacha and strategy games.

A very good game, many people love figure and this game make my dream come true. But unfortunately this game is pay too win as it is so hard for f2p player upgrade their 5 stars characters

Figurines are nicely drawn. I have my own room to decorate when free. Hope more beautiful figurines come out for my collection.

I’ll be honest, i dont play this kind of idle/ gacha games, but Figure Fantasy really got me hooked. From the stories, to the event, to the boss fight. I really enjoyed every one of it. Its not a typical, higher power = win. Sometime even with a lower power, you can win. Just have to stragetise properly, which i love as each character have their pros and con for each mission. Only downside is, after hitting a certain level, its hard to level up due to having to have a duplicate of your character. But other than that, i suggest giving Figure Fantasy a go!

It seems like the developer/s has actually put in effort into the game (unlike some other mobile cash grabs) There is no energy system so its entirely based on effort

This game is really well balanced with frequent updates. Updates that really shows the developers are making efforts to keep things going. They are not out to fleece players for money as it’s not Pay To Win. After many App games, this one is really outstanding compared to the rest.

Downloaded after not playing any game for years as I like figurines. As everyone said, you hit a wall after a month of play, can’t upgrade/promote and can’t progress But not exactly a problem for someone like me who don’t need to play a game intensely and forever too. Having said that, suggest that the game can have more events that challenge you on your figurines formation against different enemies. And will be good if there is a better mechanism to guide players just prior the fight. The story can be improved with stronger character development.

The concept, stories, plot, limited events helps to get people to play longer, characters and overall game is very fun to play and are interesting ! But once the characters are at level 120, they must be promoted past the gold star and this makes it hard for those who are casual and free-to-play players as everyone wants to and has to promote their favourite gold star character to the next promotion in order to even level up to 121. Especially the limited characters. I recently got zhuge liang from saving a lot of gems and relied on many many failed attempts but I need a copy of him to level him up to 121 and I do not have the time and money to buy and earn gems to get a another copy All I hope for is at least a different way to level them past 120 other than needing a copy of the character especially if they are gold stars and limited.
