This app essentially gives you MacOS Finder / Windows File Manager on your iOS device, with access to network drives, including personal desktops. As in Desktop OSes, it provides a binding between some file types (especially office) and the app to edit files of such types : Using the “Edit in Pace” function is equivalent to Desktop OSes double click... Support is very fast and knowledgeable.
Excellent app. Love it.
This app is simply the best file browser for the IOS platform. Instantly one gets access to data storage on any platform. And the only that allows for the simple and automatic connection of the Apple Time Capsule disk partition to copy, move, access directly etc. any files on it. Any files on other compatible Cloud services are directly accessible through File Browser. Another great feature is the ability to download from any URL directly into storage e.g. ICLOUD, external storage etc. The usage for this app is just numerous and it’s a definite must have app. Just get it!
I use FileBrowser all the time to backup photos onto my NAS. It is very stable and doesn't crash like some of the other apps. It is also user-friendly and very practical. Totally worth the money.
Easy to use, but iphone documentation would help for some of the trickier jobs. well done.
Enable me to repurpose an older AirPort Extreme into a home media server for the family across our iDevices.
Does exactly what I need with the help of apple's vpn client.
Excellent app! Direct transfer files to NAS. Flawless on iPad 1 and works well with the old Iomega iconnect too. Fast email reply from Stratospherix. 5 Stars!
I use this mostly to see files or movies that I keep on my NAS. It's great! Would be even better if the built-in media player would play avi files properly, but no worries, you can stream that to another app like VLC, though that can some be laggy and even crash...
