ADVANCED IMAGE CONTROLS

- Fast, intuitive focus and exposure controls: Tap the screen to set focus/exposure, tap again to lock.
- Shutter and ISO Priority Modes: In addition to auto exposure, you can set specific Shutter Speed or ISO values to adhere to and let the app automatically adjust exposure for the unlocked value.
- Cross-swipe manual controls: The most intuitive way to manually adjust focus and exposure. Swipe across the image to dial in your perfect shot. Swipe up and down to adjust exposure. Swipe left and right to adjust focus.
- Reactive analytics: A foundation feature of Filmic Pro and now in a photo app. Manually adjusting your focus and exposure will automatically apply focus peaking or zebra stripes to make sure you get your shot just right.
- RGB Histogram: Dynamically shows the exposure profile of the image across all color channels.

Portrait pictures not saving

This used to be great, now it’s been abandoned and it sucks, filters don’t work right, portrait pictures don’t save

It Can Be Better - Tilll then

I wish this app could be my go-to Photo camera app like I used Filmic Pro for my ios video recording. It takes good and clear shots only if you use a gimbal or tripod - very blurry images when taking handheld photos. The lack of feasible or not image stabilization or anti-shake sensitivity features makes it useless to use compared to Procam. Until image stabilization or anti-shake sensivity features is included, I will not recommend the app

Add white balance

Great camera app. Only missing white balance setting like in filmic pro app. That’s why only 4 stars.

This is now the best photo app!

In the beginning i wrote a 2 star review after 2 days of use, Why?, because of the subscription model. Lucky the Filmic crew made a professional and perfect decision to move away from subscriptions (i hope they never move back) because now all Filmic apps are worth every piece of your currency. I’m a very happy user now, this app is 99% complete and no need to use other Photo apps anymore. There are just a few tiny features i like to see. * iPad Pro compatible * When in grid view, there is no option to see if you are in horizontal balance. (Like they do it in the Camera+ app) * I like to turn/on off the “Go to Filmic Pro” button in the lower left corner. I touched it by mistake to many times. * Option to make this the default iPhone camera app.

Great start!

I did not know this app launched, good that in filmic pro this app gets promoted as well :) Al the negative comments about subscription based I also share until I’ve seen the pricing. Come on.. about €8 voor a yearly basis is nothing if you’re going to use this app a lot. For me anyway I find this more than acceptable although I also would have liked a one time payment. About the app, it’s definitely a filmic app, I like the layout of the app. It’s smooth in use and easy to use with a lot of options. I really would like to have a longer shutter option than 1 second but I think that’s more of an iOS limitation than the app. After more time with the app it notice that the photos take a very long time to load correctly. When you take a photo and look back on it, it’s blurred and after about 30 seconds it’s shows it’s original (dng) it would be nice to update this :) As always keep up the great work, big fan here!

A subscription for RAW? This is out of hand.

I really like the filmic camera app and I was looking for a decent RAW photo app. Well this is not the one. The subscription based nonsense is running out of hand asking for RAW not a one time fee but a subscription. Wow. Just wow.

Never ever any subscription for me

When you become hungry for money you do the subscription trick. I know not one brand or app that has subscription that are customers are happy to pay. Its only a win for the developer. I think this so bad that i quit using all software from filmic. There are Many alternatives just as good or better.
