Great game but…

It crashes very often on iPad

Nice concept, lacklustre execution

Pretty graphics, interesting concept, decent battle system and beautiful character costumes. All characters are also available instantly without gacha which is amazing. The game falls short in diversity of content and release cadence for new permanent story and game modes. Seems like they also didn’t plan well how players would progress in the game since they are constantly raising max level even though the game isn’t that old yet. Costumes permanently locked away if you didn’t pull enough gacha to obtain them through stamps. All in all a really fun concept and enjoyable game but the more you play the more grindy and crippingly repetitive it gets. For most people FF7 Remake and Rebirth are going to be much better fills of FF7 void in soul. They are also likely much cheaper than getting progress here to an enjoyable level.

Good game for Final Fantasy fans

I play with iPhone pro max 14, Ipad 8gen and computer. Only problem is game crashes pretty often when I play with Ipad. I hope future updates will fix the problem. Works fine with phone and computer.

Good game if you’re a fan of FFVII

The gameplay is fun and graphics are great. It’s an alright way to experience the FFVII games, but as they are abridged you will miss out on a solid part of the games. Eventually, Before Crisis will be added which will make it playable again, and in English for the first time, so that’s great. The original story is very enjoyable too, and isn’t abridged as it’s a new story. However, the game is heavily monetized and grindy. You aren’t able to beat some of the hard event content unless you spend money, or keep your phone on 24/7 playing the game. Skip tickets would be much appreciated. But other than that, it’s worth checking out.

Decent casual gacha

I had a very bad review for this game at launch but they’ve fixed a lot of issues during the year. The QoL updates have been good. This is a very casual friendly game and very generous if you’re F2P. The turn-based combat is a nice return to series roots since the mainline games are all action now. While I’m not a fan of some of the gacha tropes, it’s not bad enough like other games to make me stop playing. My main motivation is collecting the outfits I like and playing the strange and somewhat simplistic event stories. I do like the main story revealing new lore and stories that connect with the mainline games. The fomo can be annoying but I guess they need to make money. Overall, decent gacha.
