FineCam Webcam for PC and Mac Reviews

Could not connect to PC

KCPotter on

United States

The Windows software wouldn’t connect to YouTube. Tech support replied by telling me that it worked for them. Then I tried the iPhone app which insists that I am not connected to my Windows PC when I clearly am. Very frustrating!

I mean, I might pay if it friggen worked

Sphishack on

United States

Doesn’t work worth a crap. Pc app no longer connects to iPhone, tries, but app quits unexpectedly. Does the same on the iPhone :-/

iPhone 14 pro max/Windows 11

Does not connect. I am connected to the same Wi-Fi as my laptop. Devices are reading each other as an undetectable connection. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the laptop and phone.

Phone never connected to webcam

Sort of a waste of an app when it can’t serve it’s sole purpose. Disappointed.

Crashes nonstop unable to use at all.

Has a watermark

NVpiano on

United States

They don’t tell you this app adds a watermark to every recording. A complete waste of time to install and now uninstall.

Video is choppy and has bad latency

Rgartman on

United States

Camera is choppy even in the program. As a second source or virtual camera in obs, it is recognized but the camera never engages.

Security risk

I got a message on PC stating that by downloading your product could do harm to my PC, I thought I would bring this to your attention.

Needs some work, but has excellent support

Isidore51 on

I had quite a bit of trouble linking my 2 iPhones (a 14 Pro and a 6S) to my desktop, but finally managed to do it. The FineCam team was very supportive, which I really appreciated. Also, the “blur” background does a pretty sketchy job of distinguishing the interface between the user and the background, and it loses voice/image synchronization enough to make the “blur” feature unusable. Compare this with Zoom, which does a better job with the blur function, and has no problem with synchronization. As I use FineCam more, I’ll report if things change.
