Such a good idea

Using the Firenzecard and app is so useful and informative. All the places of interest are listed with links and useful phone numbers for each. There is a very good review of each museum to give you knowledge before you arrive. This is a very good way of seeing the wonders that Firenze has to offer, and also saves a lot of money on individual entry tickets. Well done Firenze!!!

Great card for visiting Florence

Really useful app, just find the museum name and click start visit. Great value if wanting to take in a lot of culture and history

Buying tickets online

The Firenzecard is a great concept but it does seem odd that you can’t book tickets directly from the app and reserve dates/times for visits eg to the Accademia.

Only disappointment was not being able to get a reservation to climb the dome in the 72 hours we were here — late October. We should have purchased those tickets separately and made a booking online. But it would have meant spending an additional Euro 18.

Hassle free!

Really good way to get into the museums- there’s no way to see everything but with the app you don’t need to waste precious time going to collect the card- but remember that priority access doesn’t mean you never need to wait in a line- that’s just the way it is and there is no need to be obnoxious!
