Description

Do you live in wildfire-prone areas? Are wildfires a worry for you? You need FireTrac. Built and run by Bridger Aerospace, an Aerial Firefighting company fighting wildland fires. FireTrac offers up-to-date location-based information, maps, and imagery and it can also monitor other locations to keep track of your loved ones.
In addition, you can report a fire, share fire imagery, and chat with neighbors and other FireTrac users about current fires affecting you. Our goal with FireTrac is simple: Save lives with wildfire intelligence.
FireTrac leverages the combined resources of Bridger Aerospace (one of the largest private operators of aerial fire fighting aircraft in the US.) and scours data from all available sources, such as the US Forest Service, Inciweb, and IRWIN. Most importantly, we rely on on-scene witnesses (like you) to provide data, status, and perspective found nowhere else. This combination of real-world experiences and data makes this app an authority in wildland fire information. FireTrac enables you to make informed decisions to stay safe.

iPhone SE 3rd generation, iOS 16.5.1 — cannot set up account because keyboard is covering area of screen with login/password fields! Please fix this. It works fine on iPad. 7/6/2023: developer has contacted me to say that fix is coming. When it does I will re-install the app and try it again.

Needs more fixes.

Tried to upgrade. Only a grey screen shows with multiple attempts. No other way shown to do the upgrade. Have to wonder if they want my $.

Expect more from an app 4+ years old…

…than a blank screen when I try to look at the subscription prices. Rest of it looks fine. Too bad that happened.

The original notification problem has been resolved, thank you. The ease of use limits me give it 5 stars but is a good app for information.

Nice features — and keeps improving

I appreciate the easy-to-find info for when I travel through fire prone areas. I see the improvements from when I first downloaded. Thx Firetrac.

Doesn’t work!!!!

Sadly this app is fundamentally useless. Create a profile and verify the account then now the app won’t allow me to sign in tells me invalid email or password. Click the contact us button select sad face then it asks to give the reason, yet it won’t let you type anything in. Also the screen doesn’t move fluently when trying to zoom in or scroll. And hopefully it will come in closer that 16 miles above the earth. So far that’s as close as I can get and I can’t open my account to find out anything different.

WOW! I am very impressed!

My initial review of this app was low due to a few issues I experienced setting up my profile. The developers have gone far above and beyond to fix those issues and showed genuine concern that those fixes would meet my expectations. INDEED THEY HAVE!!! I am so happy that I downloaded the app again and am absolutely impressed with the amount of information available within. Without a doubt this is the BEST fire tracking app around. I cannot wait to see how this app gets even better. Thanks again to the support team for their exemplary response!

Great Alerting System

I currently commute to and from Montana for work and stay at a company house when in Montana. This app has a nice notification feature that alerts its users if fires are coming near their pre-programmed address. Luckily, I haven’t had to alert my company of any fires, but the feature is nice to have just in case. Sometimes small fires don’t have fire maps, but usually the larger ones with more publicity have maps. Very cool to be able to see what the fires are doing!
