First Citizens FAQ
Is First Citizens free?
Yes, First Citizens is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is First Citizens legit?
⚠️ The First Citizens app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
I downloaded the app and after putting in my cif# the screen turns white and the proceed button is at the top right of the screen , I use an iPhone 12 mini I don’t know if my phone isn’t supported but I used it on an iPhone 8 Plus and works great , please make it so that it can work on the iPhone 12 mini
Non-functional
App doesn’t proceed to final stage when transferring between accounts.
Do not download
The app is not yet working to its full potential. Simply use online banking
The app malfunction
When I saw the app I thought yes!! finally!Trinidad copy something good from America;but when I try logging in I reach a certain point then it takes me right back to square one, before I could’ve view my account on Google now the app nor Google is letting me view my account I can’t imagine going to the bank joining a long, long line for nothing because they themselves may not even be able to help as usual. Oh, what a bummer.
New app
This app is totally user unfriendly. They’re sending me a code and NOWHERE to enter it. Now I can’t even get in to the old app.
Great improvements
App was ok before but was missing a few key features. Now that they’ve added the biometrics for login and the summary for credit card transactions it’s almost perfect. Only thing you can’t do is transfer between your FCB accounts (if you have multiple).
Pathetic
This app is absolutely useless. You go through the tedious registration process and then it stops dead and you can’t do anything at all
Unreliable app
I downloaded the app thinking I would be able to use it on the go if needed, but after putting my information in and logging in , the app totally froze, just stuck on the same screen forever, tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it again, then again the screen froze again after logging in, total dud, I am uninstalling again don’t make any sense keeping an app that doesn’t work, be more efficient first citizens, and don’t put up an app that malfunctions, not a good look for your establishment.
Buggy app that gets the job done
New Customer to First Citizens. My professional background is Software Engineering and Development, yet logging into the First Citizens Mobile banking app was one of the hardest challenges I’ve had in a while.
Firstly, I could not receive the OTP text message required for login on the number I had provided, which was a valid bmobile postpaid number. I’m not sure if the fact that I ported that number from Digicel to bmobile was a potential issue, but I was able to finally receive the OTP text message by changing my mobile number using the online banking website to another number I owned (a bmobile number that was not ported).
Next was trying to login. As mentioned by other reviewers, entering a valid password and username, which works on the online banking website, produces an invalid login credentials error when attempting to login using the mobile app. I discovered that having certain special characters like !#^$ in your password causes login to fail on the mobile app (while it works on the online banking website). Since having a special character in your password is a requirement for online banking, the fix is to choose a password with a special character that doesn’t include any of the above mentioned.
There are a couple other clunky and odd User Interface issues, but once the initial hurdles are overcome, you can generally perform most basic banking tasks without issues.
Hmm
It is clear that Trinidad and Tobago cannot make a working app how great just great I don’t even want to give a star but I’m forced too fix yall Mf app
