The game that began my mystery caper path so I’m really glad I found it as the games in this series just get better and better. I keep returning with the hope of another game as I’ve played them all and nothing on iOS is better, I adore everything about them from the story to the layout and dialogue but most of all the genius puzzles, so clever.
Great game and free
It’s great for a free game and no adds to annoy you every time you click on something.
It was ok
I found it ok. It was impossible to know how to manoeuvre around the game without trial and error
I repeatedly had no clue what to do so didn’t enjoy it as much as could have
I also think a separate talk button is needed as frustrating going into inventory to do that
Really good
Great overall, loved the effort in the smaller details like the commentary on useless objects was funny/witty etc.
One complaint is that occasionally with clues I wasn’t sure it was hinted at in game? (Want to talk about specifics, but don’t want to give away spoilers more! Maybe one that doesn’t spoil is the Dyce one, but I did get there in the end with it so hey ho lol)
Overall if you do get a bit stuck and feel you’ve tried everything, best thing to do is go to the help page and there’s really well laid out hints.
So yup, really fun, liked the small animations and humour, really enjoyed this 👍
Good
Great game but slightly confusing around when you’re in the corridor after speaking to the sheriff. Overall great game and I applaud the illustrator
Short but good
It’s a great wee game, makes you think but not to hard although I did use a few hints! Graphics were good and game was enjoyable and easy to move etc. Wish it was longer but can’t complain when it was free! And no ads I’m sure (I can’t remember for sure, so couldn’t of been many if there was!)
Great game
Love his game but am stuck would love a walkthrough. Good thinking game. Great response from developer now I completed the game. Great puzzles to solve keeps you thinking and enjoying
Brilliant
Fantastic game with great graphics, characters and puzzling riddles to get the brain ticking.
Incredible
I love all MysteryCaper games & I only wish there were more! I'm surprised at some of the other reviews, as the puzzles were great fun and not too difficult at all. If you do get stuck, the hints system is excellent. I'm always checking back to see if there are new games from them. This one is truly a favorite!!
Witty with great art, but not for me
I loved the art, characters and dialogue, but the puzzles were too difficult for me. The hint page got me to a certain point, but in several situations, it wasn’t clear to me how to move forward and I had to email the creators for help. (They email back quickly.) Maybe the hint page should be more in-depth? I didn’t wanna bug them anymore, so I finally just deleted the game.
Not a great game for me, but someone who loves puzzles would enjoy that aspect.
