Flowtime app has scientifically validated lessons made by renowned guides on various topics. The free timer mode makes the app compatible with other apps. Meditation helps us relax while guided lesson matters. Flowtime lessons were validated scientifically to improve stress resilience in a randomized controlled trial completed in collaboration with Mobio Interactive and the University of Toronto.
There are about 120 sessions from professional meditation instructions, including courses engaging in relationships, performance, stress, leadership, focus, anxiety, mindful pregnancy, and so on.

The real-time data matters when you are doing meditation, while rich biodata reports after practice are also crucial to measuring your practice every time and insights into your progress. Thank you for such an awesome device!

Great app YEET on

I started meditating during Covid lockdown. The more I read books to solidify my understanding and practise and learned about different brain forms; I wanted to measure these while meditating. But the devices available in the market was very few and Muse required their own app. Also I learned heart brain coherence is important. Flow measures all the brain waves AND heart coherence. The best part I can leave the app and do my own meditations on outside app. I can also journal and record my mood. So thank you!

Loses data never keeps signal

Every time I have used the headset with the app, weather breathing or mediation it looses signal. Battery fully charged and phone next to me and not signal is reliable . Worthless if u don’t get the feedback.

Not so great if you have curly hair

I find this device frustrating, I have fine, curly hair that is short and so difficult to pull back. This headband pulls out my hair every time I wear it. It also is difficult to get a signal, the plastic band meant to secure the connection pops out constantly (I’m very petite so need the medium band with a knot in it). The plastic in the band also sticks to my hair and pulls it out. It then is difficult for me to get a good connection - by the time I get it working I’m so frustrated there’s no way I’m getting into alpha nonetheless theta. Further, I have training in Neurofeedback and I wonder how accurate these brainwave measurements are. It’s protagonists enough for home use, but I plan on comparing with my own Neurofeedback sensors. I’m curious which sensors are the ground and the reference. I only use the silent meditation and the resonant breathing, and haven’t paid for the full service at this point. I haven’t found the guided meditations helpful at this juncture- maybe in the future. If I still use it. All that said I do find the data interesting, and if it’s accurate enough it can be useful.

Bought the headband and the app. Headband showed up but it appears to be previously opened and the instructions are missing. I purchased the app with the headband but it says I have to pay for the app. There is no way to contact the company to get support.

I’m only on session two and this is freaking wild! Being able to see my progress is going to be so helpful.

i have another meditation headband that ruins visualization meditation. not flowtime! i can set biofeedback to gamma and do proper visualization (relaxed and focused) correctly. in addition i can fine tune my meditation by individually setting biofeedback to each wavelength and doing my standard meditation. the other headband is just a toy in comparison to flowtime.

Heart rates is not accurate

The Heart rate measurement is not accurate. It is reading about 2 times my heart rate. When my Apple Watch reads in the 50 bpm rate the headband is reading 85 to 95 bpm.

Easy to Use

I really enjoy using this. Easy set up and use. I had an issue with the first device, but the service department stayed on top of it and resolved everything. Very happy with device and feedback format of app.
