Doesn’t recognise foreign phone numbers
Useless if you don’t have a South African phone number. I am sure MANY foreigners fly Safair??? Come on, fix this!
Stay away, website works better
Before the online checkin opened I went into my booking to look at the seat map for my flight, I clicked through the seats, and left the app. Now that online checkin is open it tells me there’s an open reservation balance that needs to be paid. Unless I pay these R100 I can’t check in online. Very annoying, now need to go the extra mile and waste my airtime on calling the support. Fix this!
Room for improvement
It took quite a while for Safair to come up with an app. The app is a good start, however there is quite a bit room for improvement. What about flight or boarding messages to avoid irritating sms. What about boarding passes added to the wallet instead of pictures downloaded to the album?
Very convenient and easy to use
Best in Class!! This app is great for quick booking and issuing of boarding passes. Great for updates on flight status and planning travel in advance but also great for last minute booking. Looking forward to seeing more improvements and features. Great work and keep improving 🌟
New update
App doesn’t work at all. Completely frozen.
New version not working
Can not even open the app !!
UI is buggy
The app is user friendly but unable to capture my ID card. Now I’m stuck because i can’t book my flight.
Not Working!!
Not happy with the recent update! Before the update, I could select my seat and pay for it and it was successful. Since the update, every time I select a seat and proceed to payment, an error occurs - unable to continue please try again later. I have tried many times. Logged out, logged back in. Exited the app and reopened. I have even waited a few hours to try again and tried one day later and still the same error!
Can’t even Check in
Constant checkin errors. Complains about seat booking and the troubles never end. Always logs you out just generally shocking. 15 emails and I still couldn’t book myself in had to get support to by which time I got the worst seat
