Description

Fontcase is an app that lets you install custom fonts on iOS and iPadOS.

1) Import fonts from your iCloud Drive or Dropbox and add them to your collection of favorites.

2) Tap on any listed font and you'll get a preview of the characters along with other metadata.

3) When you're done collecting, install your fonts in Settings and they'll be available in other apps, including iWork, to make your documents look better than ever.

Fontcase is completely open source, so your privacy is insured. The app only adds fonts to your settings and does not modify them at all in the process. For more information on why this is important, see the app's Help tab.

Can't do anything

Can't install any font to begin with. It just crashes

Hat bei mir nicht funktioniert

Beim Versuch Schriften zu installieren, kam eine Fehlermeldung, dass die fonts nicht installiert werden können. Ein Löschen der Schriften, war auch nicht möglich. Mit fonteer, hatte ich diese Probleme nicht. Kostet nicht viel und funktioniert super. Schade, diese ist zwar kostenlos, aber für mich nicht nutzbar.

Meh

Every font has to be hand picked, which is insane with 200+ fonts, especially if you have them organized in folders. The app talks about having a “folder of fonts on your cloud storage that’s easy to keep in Sync with all your devices”... well that’s not possible. Don’t know what I’m missing there. The whole process is pretty crazy. There is a font API that for example Adobe is using, don’t see why it needs so complicated and unsafe.

I read about this one somewhere in the Internet. For whatever reason, this does not show up in the App Store search. Bc Apple doesn‘t earn anything?? Glad I found it! Will give 6 Stars for .ttc support :-)

Best font installer on the iPad

I have tried most font managers on the iPad, also paid ones, and Fontcase is the best. It is easy to use, does not install shady protocols like some others do, and it is free. I only wish there was an easy way to activate or deactivate fonts without uninstalling or reinstalling the fonts. But this might be a limitation of the iPad at this moment.

Great and useful

The custom font installer wizard app is really helpful! It is free, transparent (open source) and easy to use. Now the process of installing your custom fonts is no longer so difficult and painful. Thanks for the great app and contribution. I will recommend it to everyone who need/want custom fonts on their iDevices.
