Food & Macro Tracker By Fittur Reviews

Good app, but dangerous information.

Dorrokian on

You need to add a disclaimer in your diabetes video. Advising people to use intermittent fasting especially while they are medicated for diabetes can be extremely dangerous. Some studies have shown that it is beneficial, but there are also studies and real word instances where it has shown to have negative effects. You need to advise viewers in the video that you should always seek medical advice before intermittent fasting if you are diabetic. Once this has changed only then will I change my review rating.

Would anyone seriously pay for this??

Not 24 hours since loading this app and it’s pretty unimpressive. Other than fruit and veg, one protein bar and soy milk brand that I use, no other foods I eat / use are in the system. Fair enough, there’s millions out there and many more hit the shelves everyday. The even more ANNOYING thing is, when the food isn’t in the apps data, when you select to add the details, ie protein, fat, carbs, calories and fibre, firstly you can’t add the exact number from the packet, ie 1.4, you have to round up or down to either 1 or 2, then the useless thing goes off on it’s on its own tangent and decides the amount of carbs it THINKS the item has, which on one item I entered was 20 grams out. The packet said a single serve was 50 gram weight which yielded 23.1 grams of carbs, but the app changed it to 43 grams and doesn’t let you select or change it, therefore giving your total daily intake a false and inaccurate total 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Still a lot of work to be done on this app! Move on and try another!!!!

Okay app

Would like to see where you can track your daily remaining macros by percentage rather than by units. Also it was hard to add food to recipes unless the food comes with a barcode. I couldn’t just do a lookup of capsicum for example. UI looks good though.

Great app. There's a group of us as 'friends' using varying platforms motivating each other and we're doing really well. We've tried previously with other things but this has made a real difference. Only 1 improvement comes to mind, it would be nice if we could remove foods from the selection lists. This doesn't cause issues and is just a nice to have.

Best tracking app.

I was skeptical at first but now I am a complete win over. This app is by far the best (and I've used them all) app for tracking everything. My only gripe is I wish I could do grams instead of cups for sizing but it's easy enough to work out. Oh and an option to not use calories earned from exercise. Other than that, it really is fantastic.

Life Altering!

Love it, can not fault it! Have been using it for the past week and a half, and i have lost 5lbs! It allows you to track your progress and connects with my fitbit. It has changed the way i eat and has given me so great alternatives for snacks when I'm feeling hungry. I use the diary everyday and record what i eat, its a great way of knowing whats inside the food I'm eating. LOVE IT!!

Great

Has a huge selection of foods and tips on how to stay healthy and lose weight. Not only does it track calories but almost every other nutritional fact is tracked as well. I'm already down 8 pounds and this app has definitely helped.
