Forest FAQ
Is Forest free?
Yes, Forest is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Forest legit?
⚠️ The Forest app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
I am highly pleased with the team for my phone died and I got lost so I couldn’t leave the bicycle or end the trip which led to a charge of £17 but Jade a part of the help and services team refunded me and has really helped me out with this issue.
Horrible buggy app
Great prices compared to Lime but horrible app experience. Always crashing. Slow. Hard to rent. Bad map. Frustrating.
Sneaking in extra fees
They’ve just started including a “service fee” and no longer email you a brake down of charges after your ride. You have to go into the app to find it. This seems a bit sneaky ….
Falsely claiming to be absolutely free
There is a £1.5 minimum charge per day while it advertised itself as absolutely free for the first 10 minutes per day. It is not expensive, but it’s neither honest.
Great
Really enjoying using these bikes this week will be getting more bundles. Although I’m surprised I don’t see bounties being offered for starting a journey on a bike in a red zone seen as there is a fine paid by the people leaving them there forest could easily reward rider ten minutes for starting a ride on a bike out of bounds and ending within!
So many bugs
So inconsistent: from scanning QR codes 5 times until it actually works, to app break downs, not being able to end rides etc. One of the worst built apps I’ve seen in a long time.
Used as a spy app to steal personal information like
Your home address ! The app very basic and non functional
Downhill recently
Really gone downhill recently. Bikes often broken, app glitches all the time.
Worst app
The bikes are great but the app is the worst! Signing up and renting your first bike is a nightmare!
