To download or unlock a non-iOS version, it requires a separate purchase. By logging into the same account, your data can be synchronized across all platforms.
• Due to iOS limitations, the Allow List feature is only available on iOS/iPadOS 16 or above. If you’re using a device running iOS/iPadOS 15 or below, your tree will wither when you leave Forest during a planting session.

How much does Forest cost?
Forest has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is USD 7.99.
I was absolutely happy with the app until I read about the new subscription model - Forest Plus. This is unacceptable. We all paid to get this app, and now you’re asking us to pay again? “The core features will remain free” – excuse me, they’re not free. We already paid for them! And now new users will get to actually enjoy these “core features” for free, while loyal users are forced to pay twice? It’s insulting. You’re treating people that have been using your app before like fools, as if our initial payment meant nothing.
When I bought this app, it was clear: a one-time payment. That’s why I chose it! No one warned me that you’d pull a trick like this down the road, turning a one-time purchase into a double-dip for more money. What a shame.

A big NO to subscriptions
So many fancy words about the big stuff in the CEO letter... just to conclude with the need for a subscription model to be like every other app on the market. That's quite disappointing. It is only content or information platform that can justify a subscription model, not a tool 🔨 Just like many people, I purchased Forest as a one time purchase on the AppStore. If you want to build an app based on subscriptions - just make a new one and see whether is becomes as popular.
There is some error with logging into the account
I really love this program, I used to have it for quite some time and it seemed to work perfectly, but for some reason after the last update I seem to be facing troubles using it, because it asks of me to log into my personal account every time I open it or try to set the timer for the focusing mode... Like, I log in, get to set the timer, and there it pops up and doesn’t go anywhere, even after I’ve logged in for 1000 time already. Please do look into that 💔

Not working on iOS 18
I really love this app, but as of iOS 18, the app is completely broken. When I open the app, it loads for about 30 seconds and then crashes unexpectedly.
What is going on?!
I have enough coins to grow a real tree. It doesn’t work!!! What for I have payed money for this app???!!!
All my trees are gone.
There's no way to restore my App Store purchase or at least to log in ( all I got is 404 error), all the trees that I purchased are gone and support is afwul, none to be specific. You can write them in a chat but they won't reply. I am with you for TWO years now, please GIVE ME BACK MY PROGRESS 🤬
UPD: it gets progressively worse, some icons are not responsive AT ALL (for example, Focus challenge), app crashes, gives endless errors, etc. I am considering other apps, because Forest seemed to be stress-free app for my focus time before, but now I am frustrated with everything in it!
App crashed all the take on latest IOS
I like this App a lot, and use it every day. But last time, after I update iPhone to latest version, the experience became terrible.
App crashed all the time when I open it, when tree is grown my locked apps is still locked, when I open app it crashed, so only after restart my apps became unlocked. Also, app is not open from first time, it requires 2-3 times to open.
