Even if it’s from an approved retailer like Amazon, they will still deny based on category semantics like “it’s not home goods its appliances” and stuff until your benefits lapse. They will screw you any way they can. They play a clever game, I will hand it to them.

This company is either functionally useless or incompetent. Can’t get a refund since it needs a Venmo screenshot, escalate to show the photos I submitted were Venmo, they approve then never send money. Tell me 10 days later I need to link bank, try to link bank with all available options error on Forma side. Try to reach customer support is nearly impossible. This is easily the worst company I have to deal with. Why do I feel like they are trying to hold my benefits hostage? Just a terrible experience all around.

Forma is a great platform for perks and the app is very well designed and is efficient in performance.

They seem to invest more in their brand than actual functionality. After leaving my previous job, I have been unable to get a new login using my personal email. Instead, they send me a magic link that lasts for months. This is a security risk, because anyone who can access my email would be able to login to Forma and drain my account. Meanwhile, the process for selling investments is labeled very poorly as “withdraw”. By the literal meaning, this would have unwanted tax consequences. Completing this process was needlessly stressful and time consuming because the interface doesn’t inspire trust. Not what you want from a financial service provider. Don’t be fooled by the flashy brand and design. The product and company are immature and not worth the hassle. Just use a real bank.

Easy and fast

App is easy to navigate, very quick to approve claims. Would recommend to a friend.

There should be automated updates of adding Merchants. If Forma card work in-store for a retailer in a certain location and I go to a different location but it’s the same retailer, that indeed should be auto-updated. Also, if a retailer is partnered with your workplace and you’re able to use the card on the workplace platform to place orders, we should automatically be able to use the card in-store for that same retailer AND location. Regarding other benefits such as phone bill pay, we should be able to automatically use the card for online bill pay without having to submit reimbursements and wait 2 - 3 weeks to balance out (next pay period). Customer service is not on the same page. I reached out to have a Walmart approved one time, the next time the specialist said it isn’t possible and it’s not supported by Forma?? And to end the chat is also horrible. So maybe a follow up knowledge base process for all specialists is needed again. Thanks.
