THE best podcast app full stop!

This app has been really great! I love that it easily facilitates the Value4Value podcast model. The user experience is good and it connects through Apple Car Play when you hop in the car. But I find the app a little laggy from time to time whether connected to my car or just on its own. Hands down my favourite podcast app thus far though, and I’ve tried a lot of options!

Love this alternative and love that I can earn Sats while interacting. I plan on starting my own podcast on here because of these features 🧡

OPML import doesn’t seem to work, Fountain does not show up as a valid export target (from Overcast), no way to load from a file, no way to add by URL for non private. Have yet to ever use the app as I am not doing it all by hand.

A lot of areas of the interface are tiny with small tap targets. It would be nice if they were enlarged. Also the now playing screen should always be accessible no matter where you’re navigating within the app, which isn’t currently the case. Another thing, the “library” and “episodes” tabs under a show seem to be redundant.. Finally when opening an episode’s page there should be a way to navigate directly to the show’s feed from that page instead of having to go back and tap to view show. Otherwise a besides these gripes, it’s a good app with lots of potential. With these improvements it could be a A+ app!

This new update just made the app that much worse to navigate. Where are the promotional episodes that we get daily? Where are they now? GUI is worse now, too messy the previous versions was MUCH smoother looking. Stop trying to be like other podcast apps. Too big and bulky now, gonna miss the old version.

This podcast 2.0 app has improved enormously over the past year. Looking forward to future updates and improvements. The devs are responsive to user feedback, and regularly implementing features users request. For crying out loud though, please include more options for playback speed settings, 0.05 or 0.1 increments would be great (I.e. x1.05, x1.1, x1.15, x1.20, etc.)

Awesome app, but navigation is below standard, surely they will improve over time. Also, headphones and Bluetooth speakers can’t control playback (pause/play) nor volume.

It used to work great now constant crashes when trying to log into it.

The podcast 2.0 is a great idea. The app is being updated regularly and I’m sure it’s not easy with all that it does. I support this 100%.
