Rough around the edges but a good mobile companion
Just wish calendar support was a bit better on the backend - would prefer a good two way sync with Gcal / iCal to use a native calendar app.
Yes, Freedcamp is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.

App is almost unusable on iOS. Cannot create an event, just goes to a white screen and freezes each time I try..
It is almost 2022. How in the world can a company with a product as good as Freedcamp manage such a horrible App? You cannot even login consistently. Most used functionality is buried. Why?
Can’t add a task without the app freezing, rendering it unusable. Freedcamp works great in mobile Chrome browser though.
Terrible app. Crashing 99% of the time. I can’t even open it and click on my task list without it crashing. If I get that far, I can’t ever scroll down because it glitches, scrolls back to the top then crashes. Absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. Why would you not have a usable app? Makes no sense to me. I would never buy a premium version. Look elsewhere people.
I have tried many different platforms and task management software, and I keep coming back to Freed camp...
Trying to use this app to keep track of repairs and projects for a music school. I can’t keep track of my time I do on each task and there are many redundant links and buttons that take you to the same page you are already on. This is not very well organized and I wish to use something else.
I wish I would’ve seen all these reviews before I started using the desktop version. This app is useless.
I don’t know why everyone is complaining. It’s a good app does exactly what it needs to do. So many haters. I’ve had no issues.
As an active subscriber to Freedcamp I rely on it to organize projects and tasks. The features on the website are great and I don’t expect to be able to do everything on the iPad, but some very important things need to be fixed. - Rotation is stuck in portrait mode, and cannot be changed to landscape. As someone using an iPad Pro with keyboard this makes it very hard to use the App - Attachments don’t seem to upload consistently to projects in my account - Someone else that gave the App a lower rating regarding comments not being possible unless a task already has comments added
