FRITZ!App Fon connects with your FRITZ!Box via WLAN so that you can use your telephone at home via the fixed-line network and the Internet. Once FRITZ!App Fon has been started, it automatically runs in the background, making it easy to take incoming calls while other apps are running, or even during standby operation.
Once FRITZ!App Fon has been started, you can make calls with your iPhone, iPod or iPad directly over your FRITZ!Box, just like with a cordless handset. Incoming calls are displayed automatically. To make an outgoing call, open FRITZ!App Fon and dial the desired telephone number via the telephone book. To listen to new messages on the FRITZ!Box answering machine, press and hold down the "1" key.

This app collects by default all possible information. The option to turn it off is buried deep inside in menus. This clearly violates all GDPR normatives that oblige you first to ask my permission for information collection.
Box FW too old?
Why is that all of a sudden with 8.4.1? Too bad!

Stürzt ständig ab. Länger als eine Minute telefonieren, ist nicht möglich, dann ist die App aus.

Klappt reibungslos, nur die Benutzeroberfläche könnte modernisiert werden, sieht etwas veraltet aus. Die synchronisierung der Anrufsliste zwischen Box und App ist auch ein sehr gutes Feature! +Sehr nützlich und praktisch, besonders wenn man ein iPhone hat (Festnetztelefon integriert) -Benutzeroberfläche

Thanks for fixing/updating the last broken version! Now we need background VOIP for iOS4 and can you please add a way to delete entries from the call list? Re "call list".... Why can't you import the call list from FRITZ!Box? It would be SOOO awesome to come home and be able to check for missed calls using the FRITZ!App instead of logging into the web interface.... Thanks again & Cheers!
