This app is extremely easy to use and pair with activities. It also takes out a lot of the guess work.
A very cool app but not well enough developed to help the user be successful. The training peaks integration is excellent, and you’ll get a wealth of helpful nutrition info. However the “Scooter” food logging functionality is lightyears behind all the other apps out there and very manual, so I ended up Frankensteining it by using other *paid* apps to get the macros data I needed for the food you’re consuming. I still found it challenging to figure how *how* to hit the suggested macros every day, and unfortunately the suggested recipes were never actually aligned the macros being suggested for me. TLDR: An exciting idea but not enough functionality to be actionable or deliver good value for the price.
This is a great app but they need to scale back a lot on the data they’re collecting and linking to the user’s identity. Anymore, if an app is collecting more data than is needed to function I don’t bother using it.
Fuelin helped me focus on training instead of worrying about when to eat and what. I was full energy and never felt hungry.
I might try this again in the future but I found it really hard to stay on top of feeling in my food every single thing I ate. I couldn’t get into the habit but it was really helpful to get a better idea of what I was eating.
I like the app. I’ve used food logging apps for a couple years and this is the first that really pushed me to learn more about why to eat what you eat and I love that. But it also a food tracking app at that function is still in need of help. Example: when you search for a food. It just logs it in there. No list to choose from or way to make sure it’s the right item. If it’s wrong you need to delete it and pick or again. Most of the time I need to at least edit it. This has kept me from using the app everyday until last month when my coach asked to give it another try. But there is more competition in the area and for the cost of this app, it needs to do more.

Great app. Love that it pulls training peak workouts and adjusts macros on workouts in the figure. Loved it, I just sadly rarely use it since my Tri Club has a nutritionists which has been helping me.

Fuelin was a great app that helped me navigate my nutrition plan along with my workouts to have a successful first half Ironman! I didn’t have the budget for the one-on-one consultations but even on the low end of cost it was totally worth it: I listened to all the educational videos and as many of the live events as I could. As an older athlete (41) doing her first long distance tri, I knew the importance of getting my nutrition on point to help prevent injury, sickness and help me perform at my best. Fuelin allowed me to do that on a tight budget, and I’ll be forever grateful. I was able to plan each day effectively and my body performed well and recovered well. If I decide to do another long distance, I will definitely use Fuelin again and hopefully be able to go for the one-on-one consultation to get even more out of the program.
