This review may have come a bit too late since our kids are already 5 and 3 year-olds. The contraction timer was the most helpful feature; we could see duration, intensity, and frequency graphs. The app mapped the numbers and the graphs were shown. It helped us decide when to call our doula.
this app was clutch. first kid. timing contractions and all that jazz... this helped us with the first couple hours at home, as we timed the length and duration... then when it was go-time, i rocked up to the hospital with 4+ hours of graphed data. folks were impressed. i had to turn down two residency opportunities. no reason not to use this app. thanks for making it free.
Overall app is great, timing is extremely easy and helpful, tons of supplementary info. Now it is time to delete the app as I don’t need it anymore. However, I would like to keep data but export doesn’t seem to work (Email button is just greyed out, I’ve paid for ads remove).
This app helped me a lot in timing contractions the day before I gave birth. No ad accidentally showed up, which was great.
Paid to upgrade and remove ads. The ads are still there...Really annoyed. I want my money back.
Makes timing labour contractions super easy. Gives you all the info you need, and also lets you make changes (in case you don’t start timing right away, or enter a contraction by mistake). Highly recommended app!
Does not work on the Iwatch
I used this app for tracking contractions during labour and it drained the battery like crazy (confirmed in Battery settings) so while I like the features it’s not useful if you can’t leave your phone plugged in.
I wanted to use the weight tracker portion of this app, but it only gave me the option to track my weight in kg. I use pounds, and honestly have no idea of what my weight is in kg. I have deleted this app and have switched to another one that has both units of measure.
This app was immensely helpful and easy to use. It gave us the ability to instantly relay all the necessary information to our midwife to accurately determine when we were passing from early labour to active labour and when we needed to get ourselves to the hospital to have our newest baby. Thank you so much for putting this together for us to use. I would recommend this to anyone planning ahead for their labour.
