Galileo: Medical Care

I have been using this app for years, I struggle with utis, and yeast infections. I just have to put in a request for the medication I need, sometimes they ask a few questions, and sometimes they send the medication right to my pharmacy! I used to pay for this, but now it's covered under my insurance, so I don't have to pay anything! This always comes in handy when I don't want to leave the house. They have saved my life so many times, I tell everyone about Galileo!!!

UPDATE: Technical issue resolved. Excellent and fast response from Tech Support. In summary it might have been some bug of sorts that got fixed after updating both phone and app. ____________________________________ I have been using the app for almost two years. I like it, it has helped taking care of my health a much easier experience and I only have praise for all the Doctors and Medical personnel. It is also very convenient and very user friendly. Recently however, there seems to be a bug or something that is not letting me log out. Such button is nowhere to be found, have looked everywhere on the app and I know I could do that before because of privacy. I was able to log out and log back in whenever I needed to use it. I have tried various things including deleting the app and downloading the latest version, power off, restart but the same problem persists. It worries me that somehow it automatically logs me in even after deleting/restart the phone. I am at this point very concerned about the privacy of my medical records and/or phone privacy overall. Any help with this will be much appreciated. Thank you

I’ve had several visits with Galileo health and they have varied widely in efficacy. Sometimes the provider listens, sometimes they totally ignore what you say. The chat is frustrating as it’s never obvious if you are chatting with a clinician or general office staff. Additionally, the clinicians often treat patients as ignorant. Once they just provided a generic healthline.com website rather than a treatment plan. If they are going to just link to other sites, they should at least use reputable sources. They also are very reserved with refills so you have to continually have visits. While I understand that some medications need constant monitoring, I’ve been on my acne regimen for over 5 years, so I’m pretty sure it’s working. When I saw a dermatologist in person I only had to go once a year and got enough refills to last until the next visit, so it doesn’t make sense to continually require visits. They also reach out saying “thanks for the feedback and we’re working to improve” but nothing seems to change

Truly awful two years spent with UHC and the snarky responses from the providers on this app only caused me to not get the care I needed. In addition, UHC overcharged me on my monthly premium and now won’t refund the money. Avoid UHC!

This company/ app is horrible! I have this “service” through my husband’s insurance. I downloaded the app, answered the questions several times and waited and waited for a dr. I reached to customer support to ask when I would get a dr and they lied and said soon. It is the next day and I still haven’t been contacted. I’ve been sick now 11 days, I’ll seek assistance elsewhere.

We switched to UHC which offers free care through the Galileo app. I’ve been able to get a scrip for a genetic test and fully communicate with a PCP without any limits! So much better than a rushed in person visit! I can continue to ask as many questions as I need. All at no extra charge.

This app has been a complete lifesaver. My time is very valuable, All the doctors are super professional, and the customer service is very quick to respond. It’s a 24 hour service that allows you to ask general questions and get diagnosis on any health regarding issues. if you need to be outsourced, they recommend places for you to go physically. Medical records can be transferred to them and they can give you a breakdown and offer great recommendations for your care. Saves you time from going into the doctors office. They also always give great natural alternatives if you’re not wanting to take medication, or before you have to go that route.

My doctor left for the holidays and he left me without my medicine!! So I contacted with Galileo I describe the problem and they recommended immediately so they send prescription to my pharmacy!!!! So I’m very happy and very thankful. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
