Brought the g8 for my 15 pro max and it says that the key mapping feature does not support iOS 13.4 and above (errrrrm we’re on 17.5) so I can’t play any game in g touch mode ! Oh and to add it doesn’t even show up on the app to say it’s connected, but it still works in iOS mode
I have a controller and when I connect it the app just crashes

App doesn’t support the G8 so you can’t use any of the apps features for that controller. It currently only supports Bluetooth controllers. Please fix this.
Since the new update I can’t connect my controller to it.

Loved the company and the people I dealt with on their kickstarters but the products need setting up and when you can’t navigate and swap your linho then it can render the hardware useless as I’m finding out. I had it working then stopped playing for awhile now want go start again and managed to get paired but the app is needed to map the layout etc and as said I only speak English so that’s me and my control left feeling useless. I can connect via iOS (manually) but it’s not doing anything in games like it did same game same controls pfft thought I’d be able to switch on and play. Found the app weird as can get English set but as soon as you go deeper like to edit profile it reverts back to Chinese characters that obviously aren’t helpful to those of us in say London. FW update has completely killed it now won’t even stay on! Meaning no manual connection now tho it will show for a half a second connected it then powers off - that eternal boot cycle that kills technology so I really need help and if you like super backers with over 500 pledges backing your gear again then you ought to help them - I’m gutted! ☹️
At the moment it won’t connect to the game box I have and I don’t know why, there isn’t any help on this and it’s giving me options for devices I don’t have, hope this changes

The new iPhone 15 pro and pro max use usb but GameSir can’t be bothered to update the controller to work with them, I’ll be moving to backbone instead of a newer GameSir.
