Not quite there

Some great features but key things are missing. I love how there are outdoor plants plants that can be grouped and there is a calendar and great tips. However, many plants are missing though and I wish there was more personalised care schedules for the plants around when to fertilise etc. Without these, it fails to serve my needs

Can search the web

Be nice if you could search the web for plants rather than have to type everything in manually

Holds data hostage, unless you pay

As an app - looks ok, but I’m hesitant to put any data that matters, since anything I create in this app is held hostage and cannot be exported for backing up, unless I get a paid subscription. I think I’ll pass. Edit: you can subscribe, export and cancel your subscription within 14 days. At least that’s something, but I’ll still pass. Added one more star.

Very happy with this app

I find this app very helpful for my collection. So easy to update entries, add more photos and even clone an entry. Staff are always happy to help and the annual reduced fee for the premium version makes it great value.

So far great.

It really needs a HOME button to save having to go back step by step to get to the beginning. Otherwise I am really enjoying this app.

This app has revolutionised my gardening habits

I am so much more organised in my garden, now. I am able to keep up with important dates as well as keep notes of what has worked and what hasn’t. I like how easy it is to tie plants in with different areas and different events. I do however resent being constantly asked to pay for PLUS when I already have it. Please fix.

Pretty good

Need to be able to select more than one option. Eg. plant may grow in sandy AND loam soil. Grow in sun AND part shade. May have red OR orange flowers (depending on variety). In this version you can only select one option for most ‘needs’ and ‘events’. Would like to be able to link to a website (eg. where further information is held, or where I can buy it, etc). I have put the static web address in Plant Note. I can cut and paste it to a browser. Also need to screenshot a photo from the web and upload the photo. Would prefer to upload photo straight from the internet. It’s not yet perfect, but it is better than others for its purpose.

Loved it until it deleted all my entries!

I was enjoying this app until an update deleted literally every scrap of photos, data, info — everything — completely reset my account to new. Extremely frustrating. It seemed like it was backed up, but now that’s gone too! They need to fix this bug!

What happened to all my plant records?

Logged in today to find all my plant records have disappeared. I was using the free version. If I subscribe will all my previous records be available?

Almost a great app

Really enjoying using the app. Doesn’t display ‘Areas’ (says 0) on dashboard (although 4 created and visible in when drill-down) Needs a link to a plant search or encyclopaedia to be awesome. “Events” needs to be repeatable ie daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, custom months. Currently only able to be set date and time.
