The Veggie Garden Planner provides you with clearly arranged information that you need to quickly compose your vegetable garden patch.

Choose vegetables that harmonise well together. You will find information regarding good/bad neighbour plants for each vegetable.

For your chosen garden composition you get tabular overviews to quickly determine sowing/harvest times, and which interactions exist between vegetables.

As a purchaseable bonus feature, you can visually arrange your vegetable patch with our Patch Plan Editor - with vital information regarding planting distance & good/bad neighbours at your fingertips.
You will also be warned of problematic crop rotations, e.g. if you place two plants with strong soil depletion at two consecutive seasons!

Note regarding the climate zone: The seedtimes and harvesttimes are adjusted to hardiness zones USDA 7-8 (e.g. Atlanta, Seattle or Central Europe). Please adapt accordingly.

Not suitable for southern hemisphere

The app is focused on the northern hemisphere including growing zones. There is no option to select your growing zone.

Calendar doesn’t work for me.

Needs an option to change climate / location. As I live in the Southern Hemisphere the calendar is completely wrong.

Northern Hemisphere ONLY

No option to adjust the planting/harvest times at all. I thought I could set/adjust these to suit my climate but they are fixed and cannot be changed. Not sure what climate the app times are set for but I guess if you live there it would be a great app?

Not terrible if you are in the right place

The app looks pretty useful in theory but being in Australia the effort to switch all the seasons around makes it not worth the work.

Needs PH guide

This app is great. I’d suggest adding the preferred PH of the soil for each plant.

Good idea but lacking in features

I love the way it shows tips for coplanting and the planner is easy to use. But I can't add new plants and the schedule is impossible as I can't set it for the Southern Hemisphere.

Could use more work

This app could be improved by enabling Southern Hemisphere and being able to select plantings for climate zones.

It's good but should be updated

A converter used in the southern hemisphere should be added, as well as various regional conversions.

Full versions

I purchased the full version so that I can use the garden bed planner, but it keeps glitching and only letting me use the demo/prompting me to buy it again Also I don’t think I can update my location and the feature of knowing when to plant is useless. Will be requesting a refund as it’s hardly more then a partial lists of vegetables

Very limited

Used the demo garden a few times test before committing to purchase. Seamed very a good idea few handy hints. After buying found out the vegetable list is very limited I can understand I don’t expect every vegetable to be there but expected common one like snow peas sweet potato. Also wound make it easier to use if you split it up into seasons I’m in the Southern Hemisphere so your calendar is to little help to me.
