Come now Garmin, you have heaps of customers who purchased and supported the Virb 360 especially for its broadcasting capabilities. It's fine that you've discontinued the camera but atleast support those who parted with hard earned money to buy your product, by just doing a bare minimum update so it can still broadcast to Facebook/Meta and YouTube! I mean honestly why destroy your customers Faith in your brand over an update!? PLEASE!

Ever since the app was updated a few months ago, the video quality dramatically decreased if you save a clip from Garmin Dashcam 55. Never was a problem, footage was always crisp and clear, now it’s horrible and zoomed in! Please fix and update this app!
When the app works it’sgreat. A little slow when downloading footage but not too bad. The issue is when connecting the camera and then opening the app. The app doesn’t recognize that you have connected the camera. It just says go to settings to connect camera. Works maybe 10% of the time. End up using the SD card to transfer footage. Good camera, really disappointing app.
I would like to give a balanced review of how the app interacts with the LMT 51 GPS but that has been trying to update for about an hour. Software is irrelavant in view of inferior Garmin hardware. Will just be easier to return the GPS and exchange for a Tom-tom... UPDATE: changed rating from 1 to a 3. After about another 30 minutes LMT51 started to work. Garmin, why do you create such negative first impressions?
After reading that this app would save videos from the Garmin 55 Dashcam, I downloaded it. What a disappointment! My iPhone (iOS 11.3) does not see the camera in “WiFi” settings as instructed. I will try again but I’m not very hopeful. If it does decide to ”connect”, I will update my review.
It takes ages to connect and I can't take photos! Why the hell wouldn't you build in the capability to take photos with the app? I mean the camera button is there, but it's greyed out. Waste of bloody space
Please fix the limitation of not being able to view files from Virb Elite in the App. I chose the Garmin over Gopro for Gps and a few other functions but will def think again when I upgrade !! Can't be rocket science !!!
Incredibly disappointed to learn after much struggle that I can't preview the media on my VIRB Elite from this app. I actually did research before buying the camera and from the info I read, it seemed that this very basic feature was available. It wasn't until i read the fine script and forums that i saw this was however not the case. If cheap Chinese flea-market cams have this basic feature, why does an esteemed brand lack it? Come on Garmin, as an app developer myself, I can't see how this could be so difficult? Is this purely to create a better market for he VIRB X etc? Why not strive to be better than your competitors?
