Gelato

I really wanted to love to Gelato. For whatever reason (I don’t know because customer support just regurgitated what is easily found on the troubleshooting page) my print orders weren’t turning up in gelato and therefore not being printed. It has taken me months of emailing to get no change, and no resolution. I have repeated myself in email, for months, to only get the same response. It was as if they weren’t actually reading my emails, just copying and pasting. I have to leave the platform because they couldn’t offer a solution, other than manually processing each order. Which obviously defeats the purpose of a print on demand service.

Doesn’t work the way it should. Very bad experience on the app.

I have tried for hours to make up a design to get a sample of it before committing to integrating Gelato with my e-commerce. It’s terrible! There is no save button and every time I edit a design it reverts back to the previous design. So frustrating! Also I set the currency in the settings and the checkout still showed pounds. It just wouldn’t change. After using Vistaprint which is so easy and I can design within seconds and order from the checkout. I’m very close to giving up on gelato altogether. Also, the instructions were terrible and difficult to find. When I did find them they were general and obscure. I tried to do a search on YouTube and still found nothing useful grrrrrrrr

This is waste of time it only allows me to use my monry to by the products and not designs and sell it

I downloaded this app because I was told this company does stationary. They do business cards and brochures. That’s it. I wanted ACTUAL stationary. Notepads, notebooks, pens, pencils, journals. All of it. They don’t have it.

I have lost over $10,000 in sales due to the fact that they cannot accurately provide “out of stock” data. If I knew this, I would have never used their website. A customer places an order which sits “in production” for 3-5 business days - then I follow up and ask why it hasn’t been shipped and they tell me the product is out of stock and they do not know when it will be back in stock, OR they’ll tell me it is in stock, I’ll reorder it and then it will get cancelled AGAIN because it’s not in stock. As a software engineer with 15+ years of experience - this app & website is horrendous. It’s like a group of college level engineers attempted to make a product and slapped a bunch of band aids on the issues. I would advise everyone to stay far away from this company. I regret using them and wish I knew more about this company before I went and created 150+ products on their site.. I’m looking for new websites and am literally willing to pay thousands of dollars if someone can help me transfer my products off of gelato and onto a new platform. 0/5 - this company, website, and app are horrendous.

I’m incredibly disappointed with both the app and service I received. I ordered a shirt for an important event, only to find out *a month later* that it was out of stock. While I understand that inventory issues happen, the fact that this wasn't reflected on their website is inexcusable. Even worse, I received no communication or updates during the entire month. The app continued to falsely claim the item was "in production," leading me to believe everything was fine. It wasn’t until I finally reached out to customer service that they explained the product was out of stock from the start. There are far too many services that do exactly what this company claims to do, and with far more competence. This level of gross mismanagement is unacceptable. As a result, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I cannot recommend this service to anyone, and if you're considering ordering from them, beware—you might be left in the dark, waiting indefinitely with no resolution. Terrible service, poor communication, and a major inconvenience.
