Big thanks to the developers for creating the best budgeting app. My favourite part of the app is the design, ease of use and customization. I’ve been searching for a good budgeting app and I’m super happy to have found an app that meets my needs 100%. The bonus part about the app is that it’s 100% free with no ads.

the app is amazing! just wondering, however, whether it would be a possible option soon to rename the categories in lowercase, instead of having the first letters capitalized by default. that would be amazing for minimalists like me! anw, i hope more people find this app!

Hi okay. So I love Emerald. The concept is so cool and the interface is so cute, simple, and easy to learn. I even bought the Pro version. I never do this, but I do have some feedback to give to y’all because there are some bugs and things that need fixing: Firstly, the budgets section is buggy; there is a section that says “$1,234 available” underneath the amount already spent for each budget category. For me, it’s stuck on some number over in the $5000s and I don’t know why cuz Lord knows I ain’t got that much to spend freely 😭. It doesn’t even deduct whenever a new expense is added. Computing error? Secondly, spending categories also have a computing error; I added four expenses on a day, two in the food category and two in the life/transportation category. Whenever you go to budgets, and scroll to the “Top spending this month” area, the two categories have completely different money values to the ones I added on expenses. For example, I spent a total of $20.20 on food, but the spending total says I have a total of $40.20 spent on food & drinks. Especially the Life category tweaking cuz it said I spent $111.94… I only spent $17 😭😭. Lastly, I think one day y’all should have bank-integration so that whenever a purchase is made through it, the system could automatically sort it through the categories? Just a thought. BUTTT lemme say, y’all category sorting is A1 😩; like when I’m adding an expense and say it’s from Uber or the transit service, it automatically knows what category it’s in.
