#gifted Reviews

Creators beware

Scarymary76 on

Australia

Really loved this app however after finding out that they are now offering a Pro plan to brands at premium prices which includes THE USE OF YOUR CONTENT IN ADS & AMPLIFICATION and not letting creators know about this feature is very upsetting. You can’t see who is on this plan.Nothing in the terms and conditions or no licensing agreement has been made by creators .Not sure why gifted is making money for our content and not us. Also Gifted went into liquidation and just changed the name Hmmmm

Unprofessional

I recently had a very disappointing experience with the Gifted app. Despite following all guidelines. I was unexpectedly kicked off the platform. The team claimed it was due to issues with my engagement rates, but this felt more like an excuse than a legitimate reason as my engagement is at its highest. Their customer service was far from professional. Instead of addressing my concerns transparently, they were evasive and unhelpful. It's clear from the numerous negative reviews I've come across that I'm not the only one facing these issues. Many other users have reported similar problems, citing unfair treatment and lack of proper support. Overall, my experience with Gifted has been frustrating and disappointing. I cannot recommend this app to anyone looking for a reliable and professional platform.

Love this app!

Makes you wonder whose behind this app????

Terrible

Teresacannavaro on

App sells creators content to brands for a fee but does not reimburse creators. They delete comments/reviews and block people who ask questions asking for more info on this. Brands and Creators beware of this unethical practice exploiting creators content. Terrible customer service.

Don’t bother.

If you read the reviews, it seems to be a common issue. I have used the app for the better part of a year and a half. I have 100% positive reviews from every brand. Randomly my profile was declined after MANY collaborations despite it not being altered. I resubmitted and it was rectified. I am now being constantly declined and my “profile needs updating”. No matter how many times I update what I can (outside of the impossible like age and height) I am once again declined. There’s no avenue for support or to contact the developers. Do yourself a favour and contact brands directly. I’ve even had brands contact me directly and forward screenshots due to how poorly it is set up from their end on the #gifted app and how it makes creators look like thieves or like they are exploiting brands for free goods when it’s an app issue (I only knew of the inconsistencies due to the shared screenshots pointing the false blame).

Absolutely appalling

I absolutely loved using this app for years until some information was brought to light about content licensing. This app is selling the content rights of creators and not even making them aware of it. They say it’s written in the terms and conditions but there is no where to state that ‘gifted pro’ users have content licensing rights. Please please please use caution when using this app and do your research!

Not a happy customer

I was recently removed from the app with no notice and when I questioned this I was given a very generic reason as to why, no specifics and no details. When I was on the app The quality of the gifts on office were not matching my request categories either I have removed my details from the app and will not be using them again I have also been made aware that they make creators content available to brands for their ads without any concept from the creators which incredibly disappointing!

Terrible platform and support

I have had a terrible experience with #gifted. After a number of frustrating technical issues, I have had a really upsetting experience with support staff. The complications that I reached out for assistance with (creators disappearing, being deleted by #gifted, conversations being removed etc) were completely ignored and I was simply told that I was not a good fit for the platform. Please note: if you sign up to this platform, READ THE SMALL PRINT. You will find that creators have the right to take your gift and run. You will also see that #gifted deletes creators frequently, along with any ability to follow up on the collaboration, leaving brands in the lurch. If you are a creator, don’t get your hopes up. You can be deleted at any time, and they will not respond to emails if you ask them why you’ve been removed. Unfortunately this has been an expensive mistake for me.

Lots of creators being kicked off

Lots of creators are getting kicked off for not meeting requirements and it’s so disappointing
