Girls' Frontline

I just downloaded this. When I open the app, it just close and nothing happens. I didn’t see a loading screen, just black screen. For few seconds, the app closed.

I heard about this game a long time ago but I was not able to play it until recently, when it became available in the App Store. I am enjoying this so far but I could not help but to compare it with my favorite mobile game of all time, Azur Lane. There are a couple of areas that you would like to consider improving at this point. First is the user interface. It's quite cramped and feels disorganized. A lot of button labels go outside the borders and overlapping text appears every once in a while. Second is the quality of the graphic components. The illustrations, as well as the background images and profile media are quite pixelated on my iPhone XS Max. I also tried it on XR and SE, but both have the same quality issues. It would be great if the graphics are optimized since this is the game's core selling factor. Lastly, the in-game currency is quite expensive and hard to acquire. I know this is similar with Azur Lane but it feels like forever mining them, not to mention they are pricey as well. Again, the game is good as it is, but it could be great if the points I mentioned above are improved to certain extent.

I love the game and how f2p friendly it it but the amount of different resources you need to farm on different types of units is just too much.. plus the scattered base sections that you need to upgrade 1 after the other.. why not just compressed and just simplify it and not over complicate stuff like in AK or AL.. still love the game for it’s waifus but I might quit again after a month or two, too much to do to catch up so confuse on how the events do and stuff

Best game. Gacha rate is okay

I was a bit conflicted by the whole raifu imagery at first, precisely because I've become weary of shallow games that offer nothing but that. But Call of Duty Mobile had a collaboration with them and I'm glad I decided to take the plunge. The whole game feels alive, and managing your echelons and your base is so rewarding. There's always something to tinker with and squeeze just a bit more optimization out of. What kind of "away" mission you send your echelons matter because your resource needs change. The game play Mechanics are so intricately woven together and I've been happy to keep pressing on to unlock the next feature and the next feature. The only thing that I wish could be different is how often it's in maintenance. But even then it's only because it disrupts my daily objectives, which just shows how much I love this game. Oh and it has anime girls, that's great too.

Love the game and it’s not pay to win which makes it nicer

Very F2P friendly, many events to get what I need for what I want. Nice gacha rates too! Already knowing that Heavy Production exists reduces the hassle of going through every Contract I have and resources for a 5 star raifu. I have dedicated some of my free-time to get HK416-Chan to get Mod1.

Hi the game is really good, but im having an issue regarding the downloading of resources where the download resets like from 54% to 34% and its been like this for hours now Im just a new player

The game is really F2P! You can earn the premium currency if you login religiously. Also, game is super generous with rewards (especially with the new client update later!). If you wanna start, start NOW! Every time is the best time to start GFL.

So I used to play this game a lot, and it’s pretty fun for sure. However I tried to redownload for old times sake and found a fun little bug Halfway through the download, the game will crash and west the download. Until this is fixed I can’t give the game a good review :)
