Glo | Yoga and Meditation App

I subscribed to this platform during my pregnancy for prenatal yoga, but I haven’t used it in many months since giving birth. On July 14, 2025, my annual subscription was automatically renewed without any prior email, reminder, or invoice — something I wasn’t expecting, especially since I thought my credit card had expired. To make matters worse, the price increased from $250 CAD to $350 CAD — a 40% increase — again, with no notice or explanation. A price jump of this magnitude should absolutely be communicated in advance. When I contacted customer support to request a cancellation and refund, I was told that their policy doesn’t allow any refunds, regardless of the context — even for unused services. This lack of transparency and flexibility is especially disappointing coming from a company that promotes wellness and self-care. Silent auto-renewals, no reminders, and steep price increases with no communication suggest a business model built more on user inattention than on genuine customer care. P.S. They did leave a comment below, but I had already contacted the support team — and they were no help at all. Their job is literally to prevent things like this. This is clearly a scam. No email was ever sent, despite what they’re claiming. Sorry, but please stop with the lies.

I have been on Glo for well over 5 years now and it continues to get better and better. I enjoy the varied selection of classes and the filter functions where I can easily have a selection to choose from based on where I am at that day - tired, energetic, strength conditioning and how much time I have 10mins to 90mins. It works really well for my hectic lifestyle and offers me everything I could ever need at any time. The instructor pool is growing and there are so many great ones to choose from as well explore new ones everyday. I am not sure what I would do without Glo to be honest - sometimes my ability to practice is so last minute that this works so much better than a studio for me most times.

There’s just so many options from so many names. Almost every day I try to talk myself out of doing yoga and then I do it and I feel amazing. If you’re on the fence to know if the $200 to $300 is worth it, it is.

Feeling very deceived after being charged the full annual fee after my 7 day trial. I had expected to pay for another month and go from there. Was not even offered the option to just pay month by month! Disappointed.

The yoga is truly amazing with the best teachers. Now the app is terrible! In one year of subscription I’ve NEvER saw an “recommended for you” class that ressemble to what yoga I usually do… When you pause the video for more than 2 minutes -let’s say to go grab water- the video will close and you gotta look again for it and reopen and find where you’ve left of ughhhh. Offline downloads doesn’t always work. Classes sometimes don’t get recorded to your completed classes.

Using Glo has changed my life. The endless options for classes and instructors has helped me figure out what works best for me. My mind and body are eternally grateful.

I love Glo and have used it off and on since 2015. It is one of the few platforms that gives the feel of a real yoga class. I love how expansive the content has become— it has meditation, qigong, pilates and more. I don’t think I would have tried these different exercises if not for Glo. There are some issues with the service— the cost is prohibitively high (I really wish they offered student discounts) and it can be hard to afford consistently. I know you can save a bit subscribing for the whole year, but it’s still a bit too high for many people’s budgets. I’ve also noticed that my account is not updated across platforms. For example, if I do a yoga class on the Roku app, it is not recognized in the Glo app on my phone. This isn’t a deal breaker, but it’s kind of annoying, because it’s hard to keep track of reaching my practice goals.

been using this app for a couple years now, and I loved the teachers and classes, except the app itself is terrible. nothing loads or works, it crashes constantly and should NOT BE WORTH $300!!!!! i’m so fed up i’m ready to say goodbye forever to this app. YES $300 THEY TOOK FROM ME FOR THEIR BROKEN APP

I’m a yogi and I was really disappointed. Glo made it really easy to subscribe and really opaque to unsubscribe. This is dishonest. I subscribed thru my phone. But when the trial period ended there was no notification for charging me. And to unsubscribe I had to access glo thru a browser. There was no way within the app to discontinue. No receipt email to locate your instructions. I found the info to unsubscribe on Reddit. Thumbs down.
