Very helpful
Good app to facilitate diet planning for diabetics and weight watchers.
The app won’t import glucose readings from Apple health which makes it useless to me.
This is the most non intuitive app I’ve come across. Not well designed and very confusing. There are much better apps out there for tracking glycemic load.
I like the content, but the toolbar at the bottom of the screen is unusable because it seems too low on the screen to reliably tap with my finger. Other weird quirks like fonts being too big for the space they occupy… it’s hard to explain but the design is amateurish and prevents me from making the most of the content. Such a shame, hope it gets better.
This ap is not intuitive at all. I was unable to easily search foods. Food values were confusing: I thought I was looking at GL but it was GI. Many foods were not in the list and needed to be added manually. Once found in the list or manually added to the food list, the item then has to be added to the “meal” which was another challenge. But most frustrating was being told there was a one week free trial. When I cancelled, it’s active for a year with apparently no refund.
I keep it tight during the week, only indulging on the weekends as far as my diet goes. However, I gave up bad carbs for Lent, so this tool is my daily "go to" for avoiding foods with a GI that's 50 or over.
I looked at my favorite food list, but now can’t return to the general list of foods. The buttons at the bottom of the page (star, and other icons) are not clickable. Not user friendly. If this gets fixed, I’ll return to my subscription.
I like the list of foods and the ability to add to the list, however, it isn’t giving me the option to save to the calculator or the days meals. Very frustrating and for the price the app should be difficult. And there are no answers on Google and I can’t find an answer on the app.
