I’ve been looking for something like this for ages. I’m doing various formulas regarding electric vehicles and this works perfectly. One thing I would love to see would be more settings such as larger font, different background colours, different types of font haptic feedback, cloud backup just to back up complicated calculations, to name just a few that, that would make this app absolutely perfect. It’s also a shame that you can’t use the result of one calculation in another calculation. For example, I made a calculation to determine cost per mile of our diesel car and a separate calculation to determine cost per mile of our EV Car, it would be great to divide one by the other to see how many times more I’m saving on electricity rather than diesel. Also there is no provision to have a result like 2.5 hours to be shown as 2hrs 30mins. It’s all decimal. And another glitch I’ve just noticed, when I create inputs and have “min” set to 950 and “max” to 1050, the slider shows a min of 396 (random !) and max of 1050 (as expected). I’m probably being way too picky because the app is brilliant, but if these features were able to be incorporated then this app would be just fantastic.
An incredibly useful app
I work in a neonatal intensive care, and whilst there are numerous calculator apps I was always cautious about them. Often they had loads of things I didn't need and not the stuff I did need. I was also worried about the formulas they use.
This app allows me to set up my own calculations for which I can take full responsibility, and have full faith in. It is one of my favourite apps.
Setting up the equations does have a couple of quirks, but otherwise works well.

Excellent little app. I use it all the time in my sales job for calculating costings on the fly. I have used some quite complex formulas and it handles them no problem. Would be even better if there was a copy function to copy whole calculations

I own a Retail store and have to work out margins every day. At the moment I use a spread sheet on a laptop with a program especially written. The main problem being that I have case prices that need to be individualised, also some products are zero rated & some are at 20%. I have managed to write the program into this little app and can now work out margins on the fly and more importantly at the suppliers before I buy the goods.
ABSOLUTELY the most USEFUL and money saving app on my iphone.

Easy to use, although a few of the buttons could be a bit better laid out on the formula page. Would also like the ability to set slider by set steps, not just equal ones. Ie 3,5,9,14. Colour coding of text and background
If you use a calculator/excel for simple or even complex Calc's this is the app for you.

An great little alternative to a spreadsheet
This App is just what I was looking for: More sophisticated than a calculator but less fiddly than a spreadsheet, it's a great way to solve life's numerical problems on a small screen and present the results neatly.
The ability to use sliders for input is handy and the ability to create 'hidden' results allows you to create intermediate steps as named variables. In this way, its possible to construct quite complicated sequences with a simple interface.
Having researched a plethora of Apps before buying Go Calc, I'm convinced that there is nothing remotely similar in the App Store. Buy it with confidence and help the creator to continue to develop it.

I guess you’ll already know if you’d use this app? So just to let you know... It’s easy to use, it’s easy to organize you’re calculations and it just works!
For me it’s replaced an ancient (now defunct) sieko device that ran all my engineering calculations in BASIC. I never thought I’d find anything quite as simple and effective, but this is it!
The ‘sliders’ feature is especially useful when you’re trying to adjust variables to achieve an approximate result that’s ‘good enough’ – much, much easier than when using spreadsheets. In fact, just stop thinking ‘spreadsheets’ (I wish the blurb didn’t compare this app with them). I’ve got spreadsheets all over the place, but for its stated task GoCalc is better – by a long way.
