False price advertising
I recently purchased 4 Explorer passes for Singapore. I paid 85 Sing Dollars/person for 2 adults and 80/person for 2 kids. Total value of 310. Because I was blown away by the offer, and saw that I’m getting 250 Sing Dollars worth of value/ person for just 85 I jumped on the offer and purchased 4 passes. What I missed though, due to being so excited at the value of what I’m getting was that the pass is only valid for 2 attractions, not for all 52 attraction the pass advertises you can do. We only managed to do Gardens by the bay Cloud Forest & Flower Dome and Floral Fantasy. 2 attractions only. Their website advertises that Cloud Forest & Flower Dome are worth 32 Dollars/Person and Floral Fantasy 20 Dollars / person. If you go and purchase these tickets as a combo on Singapore tickets for example, the whole bundle is worth 29 dollars per person. Not 52 at Go City claims. I got tricked into buying 310 Dollars worth of attractions and only really used 116 Dollars. One of the biggest ripoffs of my life. They are banking on your lack of attention by throwing all this false pricing in your face and the number of attraction the pass includes. You are made to believe you can do everything. The choice of attractions is not clearly mentioned when you buy the pass. If you don’t click on the “2 choice pass” option you will not realize you are paying 85 dollars for just 2 attractions out of 52. I do not recommend these guys at all. Anywhere in the world.
