It's a great application

Very good info on football

I have been using the app for some time now and feel that it does not offer anywhere close to the same experience as that offered by the website. I understand that apps have certain limitations in how much they can include, however, the quality of this app is quite low. There are a number of issues contributing to this: 1. Some articles (especially editorials) are just one mass of text with very little spacing and nowhere near the same layout as can be seen on the website. (Even though the contents of the articles are identical) 2. The app refreshes itself quite often and when it does this the screen scrolls up immediately, leading to losing one losing his place in the article especially when reading articles made up of a mass of text. 3. All articles are just copy and pastes from the website, including captions from images, even though no images are offered in between text. In some cases you would be reading a paragraph and suddenly read a caption as if it were part of the article. 4. The champions league standings just offer group A standings. 5. One cannot see news organized by team as offered on the website. Overall the experience offered by the app is mediocre when compared to the experience offered by the website. Whilst it is understood that the website would provide more information and a better experience in terms of features, the app discourages from using it as an alternative to the site for a more interactive platform. If these issues are solved I am sure that the app would provide a much better experience, encouraging readers using ipads or any apple products to use it as their source of information for football.

Nice app easy to navigate

Disgusting app. Always with problems especially at the start

It's quite good and very useful if you are a football fan...however there is a slight problem with the league tables! Hope it gets fixed in the next update :)

Deleted the app after looking at the new privacy settings. Everything is locked n at “Always Active.” I used the app every day. It isn’t very stable and often glitched, but I did like the writers. Shame on the programmers.

I recently delete the goal app and downloaded FotMob. Much better user experience. Goal has really been disappointing for the last years. It’s really slow, lags a lot, and just bad in general. I would much rather recommend FotMob instead of Goal. I wouldn’t be opposed to switching back to Goal but before I do, the app needs SERIOUS fixing.

I love this app so much I get on it every day to see the soccer news. I tried out one football but hated it. This is a mush have for a soccer fan

I’ve been reading articles from GOAL for roughly six years now and can tell you the quality of articles is so bad now. After the new annoying and loud add that now plays. I have finally deleted this and will be checking my daily football news from elsewhere. Also, Ryan Tolmichs takes on anything football related should be ignored.
