The app is very stable on iPhone and iWatch. 100% reliability on the course. Saving shots is easy and this results in a perfect overview of your play. It does not drain the batteries at all. Lots of possibilities to adjust course changes. The support is exemplary
Since latest update, the app does not function anymore, can not be reïnstalled and can not be removed from iPad!
I went from a 29 to a 21 handicap over the last 3 months with this app. I don’t play a shot without it. Once it learns your distance it’s nearly spot on. I am nearly pin high on every approach shot. If they make an app to help with the left/right part of the game I would buy that too. Bang for the buck you can’t beat this app. Will be getting the tags soon as well. I love it.
Too complicated and not user friendly - I just wanted distance to middle of green. Could not figure out how to do it. Cancelled my premium purchase.
Application crashes open loading it. Either iPhone 15 or 16 pro max
I recently upgraded to premium and began using the app with my Apple Watch. I also purchased the golf pad tags. I like the yardage being on my watch. You can walk to your ball and get the yardage without having to carry your phone. The tags keep track of my yardage and shot placement. One of my tags broke and support was prompt and quick to sent a replacement.
New update is marking every shot as a putt. Won’t renew this app.
Excellent tool for course management. Have tried several others but none offer the level of functionality. Just need to fix the fairway/green readings - it defaults to greens and is difficult to stay on the fairway setting within 100 yds. Once that’s fixed, I’ll be out of excuses.
I’v used this app for a number of years now, and these are my experiences. 1) I’ve had tags dropped, so then I needed to retag the club in the middle of a game. 2) I’ve had tags switch clubs in the middle of a game, for example a tag assigned to my driver was now reading as my putter. 3) When in Lock Screen to prevent accidental input, the range finder displays, however this recently has stopped working and a black screen displays instead, totally useless. 4) starting off on a different hole, say hole 5, confuses the app when you make your way back to hole 1, the app insisting that your on hole 10. No way around this but to disable auto hole advance, and manually select what hole you’re on. 5) I once was able to just touch my club to the pocket my phone was in to register the club I selected for the current shot. Now I have to take the phone out and turn it on in order to tag the club. All of these issues were reported to support, but to be fair, I did not report number 5 to support as it seemed I was getting nowhere. I don’t know if this is true or not, but I had a sense that software/app support was eventually pushed overseas. So a truer rating that I would give is: 1) A 5 star using the app with tags for the first year or so, then expect a huge degradation in performance, so that 5 star becomes a 2 star. 3) as a stand alone app without the tags, i.e, you take the phone out and select the hole you’re on and the club you’re using, then it’s a pretty decent app and does what it advertises. It would have been very close to a 5 star if it were not for problems 3 - 5 above. Problem 5 being a moot point since you have to take the phone out anyway, then a 4 star. The free version would very much be worth it if you don’t mind playing with your phone.
