Unable to book, shameful or conspiracy theory?
The app worked fine until about 2 months ago. I can only associate the issue I will describe with my accumulation of rewards. Now, I can see courses and rates on the initial "tee times" screen. Once I select a course, the tee times are blank. They stay blank until midnight (I'm often asleep at that time). By the time I wake up the next morning no hot deal times are available, at least not the ones I wanted. If I don't book immediately, the hot deal times that are available will disappear. This also makes it impossible to book 3 days in advance, as required to use rewards, because I am unable to see a time during PM hours and by AM hours, I would have to select the next day, which is not the day that I was available to play. Lastly, I find very economical rounds on the present day (after midnight) assuming the rounds I wanted are still available. The prices go up on the third day which is when I'm able to use my rewards. Originally, I thought I was inventing a conspiracy theory but I called a friend to book for me and his price was cheaper than mine. I then verified the same with my brother and another friend. The only reason I could conclude as to why I'm unable to book until after midnight and why my rate is higher was because I had accumulated rewards. Please fix if this is simply an anomaly. If not, the practice / programming is shameful.

How did play golf before this app.. it has made the booking process so easy and fast. The deals, so far have saved me a tremendous amount of money. The advantages are numerous.

Got a $150 gift card and apparently it can only be used to cover convenience fees and only certain tee times. None of the courses around me take it. So now I’m forced to book through this app just to use the gift card to pay for fees I wouldn’t have if I didn’t use this app…
Fantastic Deals
If you are hooked on golf and want to find lower than advertised golf rates locally this app is for you. I actually golf more after having it because of all the great deals I am finding. Where I live there are a lot of golf courses and the hot deals just keep popping up.
Not as Advertised
I get charged $10.83 every time I book a tee time and I still have to pay full price at the course. Of course there is no way to get a hold of a person when I want to point this out to the company.
Update: I got a hold of someone. She was entirely unhelpful. Basically, the courses are making golfers pay extra fees to use this app. My recommendation is to call the course yourself and save money.
Best way to book tee times
The value and the deals are great. The best thing is the convenience and variety of choices in courses and tee times. Being able to make tee times 24 hours a day not needing the pro-shop to be open. No hassles and you have a commitment and a receipt instantaneously. Also, other golfers honest reviews are valuable and helpful. Another great feature are the maps and directions to each course at the touch of your finger.
