We started Goodpods for those moments when you're staring at your phone -- about to hop in the car or go for a run -- wondering what podcast to listen to next, wishing that someone would magically appear with a good true crime, comedy, news, sports or audio drama podcast recommendation. In other words… podcast paralysis!
And who better to get podcast recommendations from than friends who know you best? This already exists with books. And movies. And music. We just wanted it for podcasts too!

Is Goodpods free?
Yes, Goodpods is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Goodpods legit?
✅ The Goodpods app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
Let me make it clear that I really like this app. The design is beautiful and minimalistic without being boring, and it works really well. It’s not invasive with advertisements, and it’s easy to search and do what you need to do.
But it does have one problem: It refuses to keep podcast episodes in the order in which you sorted them.
This means that your queue does not automatically go to the next episode in the podcast. It also means that when you hit “back” in order to pick the next episode of the podcast, you instead have to spend time resorting it away from best episodes and newest episodes, then scrolling, to find your place again.
This may not sound like a big deal, but it got incredibly annoying after the first six times. Without a doubt, I would give it five stars if it didn’t have this particular annoying behavior. Here’s to hoping they fix this in the future.
1 sucky feature ruins all
an example of one awful mistake designer made causing otherwise decent app to be useless. in this case, do a search. click on a search result to check it out. do t like it so click back. THE SEARCH RESULTS ARE GONE. you have to retype the query.the designers don't give a shout about UX

If you love listening to podcasts, or even just want to explore them. This is the app for you. They have a great searchable list of podcasts, and they even allow podcasters and listeners to interact with another. Definitely check out this app, and your favorite podcast on it.

For those not wanting to use Apple Podcasts or
Spotify to listen to your favorite podcasts, this is the way. Plus the GoodPods community is top notch!
Has All the features the others are missing
I just hope you guys get the users! I love having a comment section for individual episodes and a “top episodes” section, but these features don’t go to their full potential for the smaller podcasts who have majority of their listeners on Spotify or Apple… I hope you guys can win people over I really do! I love that on Goodpods I can connect with some of my favorite podcasters and have a much more connected experience with their show when I leave a review. This app really encourages connections between listeners and hosts, listeners and listeners, and hosts and hosts!

Great Podcast app
I love the idea of podcast sharing and commenting. The app continues to improve and works really well. They recently fixed an issue where it now plays as expected when I connect to my car’s Bluetooth without having to unlock my phone! It was a small thing but enough to annoy me when it didn’t work. Also the improvements with buffering help me skip to the parts I want to hear!
