Why won’t Google assistant activate when I say ok Google?????
It won’t activate at all and only works when the assistant app itself is open. That defeats the purpose

Can’t open Apple Apps
Google Assistant is by far the most responsive assistant ever. The only problem is that it can’t open Apple default apps like the clock app. I’m using Google Assistant on my iPhone since it can do more than Siri. However Siri is still the best default assistant for most iPhone users. Please improve on this, Google. Thank you.

Why do i need to add a device just to recognize my voice? I only need the “ok google” recognition to do basic commands on my phone

You can tell it to do things. It's your own personal Google, always ready to help. Find answers and get things done. It even compliments me in my hard times❤️❤️. You can play with it too, you'll definitely get the answer to your module and assignments especially in this time of pandemic and as a junior highschool student, it really help me☺️👍. Totally getting a five stars rating😊
