Google Keep Reviews

Poor performance on iPhone

Robhem on

Australia

This app is really laggy and slow. Tried on two different iPhones, same problem. Turned off sharing and link preview, still slow. It’s also limited in functionality & Google no longer support third party list apps on Google Home devices, which has led me to abandon my Google Home devices and switch to Amazon Alexa, which just works without whining.

Broke

ahcaz on

Australia

Needs a long and endless refresh on very launch. Effectively unusable on iOS

Reliable but buggy app

Daewinsv on

Australia

I’ve used Keep for my notes and also share them with my partner for grocery checklists which have been handy, but the app is buggy - notably that the keyboard keeps getting dismissed while you’re typing something in. Also, editing the notes while it’s syncing leads to a crash - a more graceful error would be better.

Better than apples version

edensember on

Australia

So I’ve just started using it last week and honestly im loving it its better then apple’s version mostly because i can use it anywhere on my laptop on my iPhone or iPad EVEN MY WATCH! Plus I kinda like the jumbled mess with the grid setting on it (I like it because im not the most organised with stuff and I like pretty much going on a hunt for things)

Great concept but lacking in function

chelsealaurenn on

Australia

I downloaded this app after using “notes” app for many many years, I wanted a free app that would set daily reminders of my notes which Google keep does, however since using, my notes have not had reminders come through once, I’m constantly seeing for updates and googling what is going on with my app. If my phone is on DND or flight mode, I still want to be reminded as soon as my phone is off. I hope some improvements to notifications come through or I’ll have to switch

Ok but buggy

batesbog on

Australia

Keyboard keeps randomly closing while I’m still typing. App is sometimes laggy and slow. Drag and drop gesture for reordering items in a list is clumsy, often hard to grab the reposition handle and then often lags while moving resulting in items being dropped in the wrong place. Lists with lots of items in them (including ticked items) are the worst in terms of lagging.
