Met de Google TV-app (voorheen Play Films) heb je makkelijk op één plek toegang tot je favoriete entertainment uit al je apps. Dit kun je doen met Google TV:

Browse door films en tv-programma's uit al je streaming-apps, allemaal op één plek en geordend in onderwerpen en genres. Ontdek nieuwe content via aanbevelingen op basis van wat je leuk vindt en wat trending is in de services waartoe je al toegang hebt. Zoek titels om te zien in welke apps ze kunnen worden gestreamd.
Maak een lijst voor al je ontdekkingen
Voeg interessante series en films aan je kijklijst toe om je nieuwe ontdekkingen bij te houden en later te kijken. De kijklijst wordt op al je apparaten gedeeld, dus je kunt content aan je kijklijst toevoegen vanaf je tv of via de zoekfunctie in elke browser op je laptop of telefoon.
Neem je favorieten met je mee
Je hebt je aanbevelingen, bibliotheek en kijklijst altijd bij je, of je nu het huis verlaat of alleen naar een andere kamer gaat. Stream rechtstreeks op je mobiele apparaat of download eerder gekocht entertainment uit je bibliotheek zodat je kunt kijken als je geen verbinding hebt.
Gebruik je telefoon als afstandsbediening voor Google TV/Android TV
Met de ingebouwde afstandsbediening in de app kun je altijd iets vinden wat je wilt kijken, zelfs als de fysieke afstandsbediening zoek is. En met het toetsenbord op je telefoon kun je snel ingewikkelde wachtwoorden, filmtitels en zoektermen invullen op je Google TV of een ander apparaat met het Android TV-besturingssysteem

Geen film maar wel betaald
Heb een film gehuurd maar nu is de film nergens te vinden niet op mijn Iphone ook niet op mijn computer of tablet. Het geld is wel van mijn rekening gehaald dat dan weer wel… erg jammer dit!!!! Mijn dochter keek er erg naar uit en is nu zwaar teleurgesteld naar bed gegaan > bedankt ..!!! (NOT!) Ik wil mijn geld teruggestort krijgen.
Great app but it needs Netflix connection!!!
If Netflix would be added this would make the app perfect for me. As it is missing it is just average. Come on google, bring it back!!!
Remote control function is not useful.
The description mentions the app can be used as a remote control, however, the remote functionality is very limited, only d-pad and no buttons to switch channels for example.
No Apple TV support?

Like everyone else in the comments, I paid to rent a movie but there is no way to play it. Tried every possible solution on multiple devices.

Netflix doesn’t work with this app
I like the app but all of a sudden this app isn’t compatible with Netflix anymore
Feels like this app needs more thinking put into it.
I suggest adding these features to the development roadmap… 1. Ability to set language of movie and tv descriptions. 2. Ability to rate ‘watched/like/didn’t like’ per season for TV shows so you can track where you’re up to or where you stopped watching because the quality deteriorated. 3. A third option ‘it was ok’ added to ‘liked/disliked’. 4. A function to ‘never show me this title again.’ 5. Ability to see what titled I’ve rated without clicking into it. 6. And the search function needs work-I searched Watchman and the suggested results only showed the movie and not the TV show until I hit enter.
