Can’t connect to GR3

Can’t evaluate app. Won’t connect , scanned in details but won’t connect - the free app Image Sync works fine ???

Can’t connect?

It worked briefly, then just won’t connect to gr3.?

Avoid

This app does not work, I cannot connect my Ricoh GRiii, I have tried updating software etc. Not fit for purpose, save your money and avoid.

RUBBISH WASTE OF MONEY. Just don’t.

It barley works, is very slow and really expensive for what it is. It basically just takes up storage, I can’t use it, but after paying £10 for it can’t bring myself to delete it. Honestly, it’s rubbish. I wish I had read more about it before buying it, it’s a complete waste of time. You will without a doubt regret downloading this. I know this sounds dramatic, but I will regret purchasing this app for the rest of my life. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.

Ok to transfer photos only

Can not control anything on the griii other than actual shutter release, I cannot see anything in live view the button appears to do nothing when viewing on camera photos the quality is absolutely awful although if downloaded to the iPad they are good. I’d love to give this a better review but I am so disappointed with the overall performance I find it basically useless.

Does not work on GRIII

Got this because I wanted to transfer files from camera to iPhone, but it doesn’t work, what an expensive piece of poo... would like to get refund.

Great app for my new GR3 but....

Looks like a great app and understand it’s essentially beta for the GR3 but whilst it all syncs JPEG and RAW seamlessly it doesn’t yet seem to work in terms of controlling the cam?

Works well and does everything I need. Really pleased with it.

Expensive but worth it

The app is expensive. There is no getting away from that but the developer is not going to be able sell many so it is what it is. The app allows you to get RAW files on your iPhone though. And then you can open them in Lightroom for editing on the go. Currently the iPhone X layout is messed up though and doesn’t not follow the safe area meaning some of the UI is hard to tap as it appears in the status area and under the Home indicator. Sort that out and it’s a winner.

Very good but could be better

The app as it is will make gr2 owners very happy but it could be made a lot better with a simple change. Something important I would add is when sharing pictures, don't use the low resolution picture preview and use the full jpg instead. The ability to quickly upload to Facebook from within the app is great but having it upload the low res image makes this feature useless to me especially with such a good camera. For this reason taking one star off until there is an update that allows this
