Since 1949, LFI – Leica Fotografie International has been established as an independent magazine for the field of Leica photography, as well as the renowned go-to publication for anyone wishing to expand their knowledge, understanding and exposure to all things Leica.

Unable to login - server not responding

Unable to login and app not responding even when trying to login on website. Doesn’t even get to user/password prompt. Please resolve.

Don’t change devices

It’s a great magazine but seriously frustrating when you change platforms as the app doesn’t recognise your details once the subscription has been activated on a previous device. Support just ignored the previous help requests. Which is, y’know… unhelpful.

Issue viewing magazine in portrait view

iPad 6th gen and in portrait mode can’t see the bottom section of the magazine. It was not an issue with previous version of the app.

Still can't view the magazine purchases on my iPhone!

I should be able to read the purchased magazines on my iPhone. Come on, it really can't be that difficult can it!

Don't bother with this.

Yet more junk from Leica that is mind numbingly slow to load... that is of course if you are lucky enough for it to work in the first place. I will save you the time in your life and advise you not to bother downloading this app, your time would be better spent using your own camera.

Why isn't this in the newstand?

A reasonable app but as it is essentially the Leica magazine, why isn't it a 'Newstand' application?

Great app, but ...

The only thing I don't like about this app is the swiping in the full screen mode of the gallery, it's "too sticky". You have to physically swipe your finger across the screen, instead of a quick flick of the finger. If you want an example, have a look at the full screen mode on the FlickStackr app. A quick swipe of the finger is all that is needed. It makes that app a joy to use.

The best thing about this app...

... is being able to access back issues at the bargain price of 69p! Recent issues are a bit more but still good value compared to the print edition. The magazine is not interactive it's simply an electronic copy of the print edition. The app itself is rather limited, a section for a gallery and news, most of which you could probably find on the net. It's convenient but nothing special. It's also very sloooooow to load and can crash now and then. Overall, an average app but the cheap back issues make up for it.
