It makes you use your brain and pay attention. They really put a lot of thought into it and the upgrades. Nothing comes close. If you want to lose your money you can gamble on it too!
Awesome and fun app that allows the weekends to be even more intense.
Fun to play, just SUPER glitchy.
App fails and has bugs, also they don’t support many states
Would be nice to see scoring in real time. Scoring is a little wanky. I’ve had had people in my league forget to set their lineup and only have two drivers but still come out of the weekend with 650 points when there lineup only scored 300. Didn’t see an explanation for this in app and a little frustrating as we are competitive. Otherwise this app has a lot of potential. Just needs a more of a flow with faster updates.
I recently decided to start a fantasy league for F1 because I was tired of doing multiple football leagues and I came across GridRival. I’m glad I did! So far the app has been awesome to use and all the guys in the league are really enjoying it! I initially looked at the F1 app for fantasy but after doing both side by side I actually prefer GridRival. Everyone has their own personal preference, but I really like the format, the contracts, point multipliers and a lot more! The app is definitely more simplistic than the F1 app, but that also makes it less confusing too, which I prefer. The instructions are very well laid out and their customer service is second to none! Unfortunately their daily fantasy isn’t available in my state yet, but hopefully that will change in the near future. If you’re looking for a great app to set up a fantasy league than look no further. I can’t recommend it enough and I look forward to using this in the years to come as our league continues to grow.
It’s pretty limited. Moved our f1 league here. When something happens because a driver will get a DNS you have to use release fees, and manual calculations to try and build your team. There is no team editor that you can discard if you don’t like the fees or can’t build the proper team after fees. It’s pretty awful that a fantasy league built on salary caps and driver release fees doesn’t have the commit and discard feature.
Love the rules format. App stability and bugs got a lot of attention last year. Found this to be a much better F1 fantasy experience than the “official” one provided by Formula 1. Looking forward to DFS availability in my state. Keep up the great work GridRival team!
Deleted the app after getting a flood of spam within hours of using the unique email address in registration. But I would have anyway after finding out it was too late to participate since the F1 season has already started so joining a league is pointless.
